The Mackie Cr8 is a budget-friendly studio monitor around $350. These may be a good buy for your home studio setup or project studio. I tested them out as a secondary mix referencing monitor, but they may also be great for production, home theatre or even just jamming out. These monitors are great for a beginner studio setup. It's not that hard, you might be overthinking it. Once you make your tracks and route them if needed. It's literally the same principles as with everything else. The Holy difference is you're limited when it comes to plugins.
