ShoMeSho yes that is definitely true HSM2 received nearly 18 million viewers on its premier night witch is BIG for a TV movie still remains the highest Disney Channel original movie to this day and soundtrack sold 7 million copies world wide so no descendants does not compare but descendants Is the next generation it's never going to be as big as HSM franchise High school musical was a phenomenon

When she says "crushing the party, guess they lost my invitation" she is making reference to the books in which Evie had a birthday party and didn't invite Mal. This would explain why when Mal finished the sentence Evie says "boo-hoo"

That line gets me every time because, though the context of the song suggests Carlos hearing his mother's voice in his head is a positive influence, the broader context (if the books are canon to the films) implies that Cruella's voice in Carlos's head would be yelling at him to take care of her furs, instilling a fear of dogs, telling him never to ask for an actual bed ever again, and generally loving her furs instead of her son. So like... it's actually really messed up and I feel so bad for him. And Abby Ham, I might ask Super Carlin Brothers too. I love their videos and I think it would be awesome if they made a Descendants-related video!

I can't wait for Descendants 2 to come out!!! Even though yea i'm going to be 22 in a couple weeks so what, I've always been a Disney fan I remember waiting for high school musical 2. Plus i'm a mom to a 2 year old who likes descendants, my son likes evie too so I can't wait for him to see the second one too since we both saw the first one. For those of you wondering why the VKs are suddenly acting evil, it's because it's part of the plot. Uma, daughter of Ursula, and her gang, Gil, son of Gaston, and Harry, son of Captain Hook, are causing trouble on the Isle of The Lost, and are threatening to destroy the barrier, so the VKs are teaching Ben the ways of The Isle so he can help defeat them without getting caught.
