А я делаю так. Если мне нужно сделать круг из ткани ( юбка солнце например ), ткань складываю , вершину уголка фиксирую булавкой на гладильной доске, а поверх фиксирую сантиметровую ленту булавкой, таким образом можно отмерить нужную длину и сделать ровный край, или с переходом длины )) .это для большего диаметра. Чем на видео 1:50

Do you know the purpose of the little black knob on that presser foot? It is a hump jumper. Rather than pressing down on the front of the presser foot you can lift the foot, make it level and push that knob in. Lower presser foot and it will stay level until you go off the edge of the fabric.
