It took me too long to discover this series, but I don't think it PERFECTLY captures the atmosphere of the GAMES. That's not a bad thing. Even in the real world, people have different kinds of stories in their own lives. This series seems a tad more lighthearted and a bit goofier than the game, and it fits nicely. I'll definitely be watching more.

As a matter of fact, at the end, when the guy in the vault suit is using "That gun" (yes, it's actually called that), the pipe connecting the barrel to the underside of the front of the gun runs vertically instead of horizontally, like how it was in New Vegas. I'm not complaining, it's still a far better than I, or any other person I've heard of, could make. There. That's about a minute of your life wasted learning useless trivia :D

They probably used a kit of the Blade Runner gun which is what That Gun was based off of, in the game they had to change a few things to avoid copyright problems.

Wow, why does everyone think this is Fallout 3? It's obviously New Vegas. Even the land gives away that it's New Vegas. Plus, why does everyone think this is too wacky/silly to be part of the Fallout Series? I mean, Yeah, New Vegas wasn't as funny as Fallout 3, but it still had Wild Wild Wasteland and you get beat up by grannies with rolling pins.

OMG lol, well for one i love this series and i have been woundering where season 2 is at, but also i love the VATS part. The dude getting shot is SO calm and his face is priceless and he legit doesnt move at all when he gets his gun shot out of his hands then when he gets shot, he just looks at him so calmly. I lose it every time i watch it.

My only complain: everything looks too clean and new and fancy for the Wasteland. I mean, shaved armpits? Fancy brand-new shoes? Clean hair? Come on!

Civilization are much present in this particular part of wasteland, like there are plenty of hospitality industry and other service economy compared to east coast. Hygiene is not that far off considering basic education is quite abundant.

@@PaladinThizz Oh yes, there is so much water to go around in an apocalyptic wasteland that it would be wasted on grooming, and supplies of pre-war era made shampoo, soap and grooming utensils would be large enough to allow random wasteland dwellers to be looking as groomed as any modern hipster. Just look at Mad Max 2, for example. That is far more likely how people would look like in such scenario.

i don't think that this series is all that great. The fallout universe is filled with cannibalism, slavery, and the worst of humanity. This is too light hearted for a game such as fallout. This needs to have a more serious tone to really follow the fallout universe. The nuka-break is a nice idea (the radioactive ingredients of nuka cola products make it addictive) and such finding more of nuka cola will turn into using more potent products like jet, and doing evil for this product. And New Vegas? I believe that DC is where its at. It is the capitol of a superpower that did a big share in creating this war. Like if it was set in DC, then we could have an episode where the main character learns about the simulation for soldiers in the war over Alaska, and learning the hate and prejudice of the world back then, realizing that it was always a wasteland. Here is yet another idea: You can set it in New Vegas (i really don't hate new vegas, i just prefer fallout 3) and have a main character (it can be anyone, it really doesn't matter), that in the efforts to escape the barbaric nature of the wasteland decides to join a more civilized group: Caesar's Legion. The irony carries itself all the way through as he will soon become Caesar's right hand man, and become the most cruel and evil person in the wasteland. Please share your ideas if you feel the same.

Jacob Grygus Continuing on from my last post, you need to (in my opinion) not only have a love for the fallout series, but you need to know the history, and allusions that these games take from the 1940's to 1960's of our universe, and see how they are applied to their universe. Only then can you really understand the fallout universe, and master how to create good fan fiction. Making your ending credits song sound like it was from the 1950's does not show that you understand the universe, it only shows that you listened to Galaxy News Radio for at least 10 minutes.

Technically it's well done. Why do you have to have geeky corniness to it? It just ruins it. Horrible dialog. It's not even campy, it's just fucking horrible. It's like a bunch of geeks got together and did a technically well executed project with a bunch of whiny dialog. There's not a single strong well developed character.

Good attention to detail. You can see that Scar has the beam splitter on her laser rifle, and they actually put in a triple beam.
