I know Exxtra probably had the rapid hybridzation the whole time... But why didn't John attacked Tom with his hydra!? That way Tom could have blocked with stuffy doll and deal 22 damage to Exxtra's face and then they could just make stuffy doll fight again on Tom's turn. Tom would most likely lose to John, but at least he didn't die to simic lol.

It would definitely benefit from the stronger high cost spells that I don't put in my videos. Outside of that, the engine was good.

4:49 I feel like that terminate target should have been Sovereign Okinec Ahau. The counters are going to come regardless, but this would have set him back at least two turns, as he didn't even have the mana out to recast him that turn. And anyways, he generates the counters faster than the 12 counters that were already there

Ahau has ward 2. That was pretty much the only reason.

Yeah, unfortunately pirate cards in general aren't really that good (with some exceptions of course, cough cough dockside).

He was definitely a threat with Cacophodon and Wayta. It's a three-card combo with basically any other enrage-type trigger in the deck

Yes, unfortunately, Stuffy Doll didn't work beacuse of its 0 power.

In fact, you don't even need another creature to get infinite mana. You just need to use something like Rite of Passage to give Wayta and Cacophodon effective indestructibility for this purpose, and you get infinite mana. Any other trigger on top of that wins the game
