@@kashking2276 I think their cousins/friends & (jubu smith?) played a huge role in helping them perfect that sound. Raphael had to be talented even as a kid to go on tour with Prince because Prince was a master musician. I've been playing over 30 yrs & I seriously doubt I could play on a stage with prince

D'Wayne is so nice. I met him backstage at a concert. I went alone because no one would come with me, they are my favorite group and it was my birthday. It was the second concert I ever been to in my life. The first being New Edition. I took a chance and asked Security to get backstage for an autograph. They were nice to let me back to meet them. D'Wayne and Timothy could have been cruel or treated me rudely because I was definitely a star struck fan. They politely signed my cd paper and D'Wayne spoke to me kindly, stating if he knew it was my birthday he would have sang my favorite song to me, "Whatever you want". These are the first and only celebrities I ever met in my life. I thank God it was a good experience! I hope I could meet Ralphael one day! I love them all !

I have a similar story meeting rapheal on the Jimmy Lee tour. ... I was supposed to get a meet and greet ticket... however that didn't happen... I winded up meeting him on the street. .. the whole thing was awkward and phone my phone was about to die... lol but still worked out and he signed the sons of soul CD... I told that CD was the soundtrack of my life he said mine too... lol the house of blues helped make that possible as well... lol

I saw them in concert last night for the first time. DYNAMITE SHOW!!!!!!. I Love Toni, Tony, Tone♥️ Nothing like Musical Geniuses playing instruments in a Live Band and then you have Rapheal's voice to top it off. Duane has a beautiful unique voice also. If you"ve never seen them in concert, check them out, you will not be disappointed.

I'm 41, I'm a huge Tony Toni Tone fan. I became a fan in the early 90s when I used to hear their songs on the radio and see their music videos on BET. I can't wait to see them in Jacksonville, FL in October, I already saw and met Rapahel on his tour in 2020 Im excited to meet Dwayne and Tim. They are all so talented, very humble, and so handsome.

I love seeing them all together and did my best to follow their solo ventures ESP RAPHAEL had the BIGGEST Crush 😅 …And their deep cuts are the best‼🥰🥰🥰 My Top 2 fave’s (outside of their most pop singles) are Slow Whine & My Ex-Girlfriend : With D’wayne’s tantalizing lead vocals and Raphael classic wit & smooth voice on the latter, both matched with the guys’ synchronized HARMONIES *Chef’s Kiss* 😚🤌🏾

Fun fact! That bay Area phrase YEE comes from the same city Master P started in called Richmond California. When people said YEE it was a sign to let the dope boys know that the police were coming..By the time the phrase made it to Vallejo(home of E-40 & Mac Dre) they used the term as a term of endearment.
