It seems like they’re taking the same technical approach to autonomy as Tesla but relying on partners to help them train their model. (Tesla already has their own fleet of cars for training their model). Wayve are banking on automotive manufacturers purchasing/licensing self-driving capabilities from them instead of Tesla.

The opportunity lies in the market/investors won't let Tesla become a monopoly in this industry.

I would like to see a much longer video of how their cars drive through the streets of London. I have seen some impressive clips but of course they have chosen the best. But Bill Gates seemed incredibly impressed with his journey to go and get fish and chips in a self-driving wayve car.
