It's so sad to see parents fight. We always forget how much hurt and trauma it causes for our children witnessing the abuse. What a good song! My mother in law always said to me and my husband that we should love each other because we don’t know who is going first or how long we will live, each other so the time doesn’t seems to long. I’ll be honest I’ve been married to my husband for 6 yrs and it didn’t seems like 6 yrs because we are always having a good time with each other. I rather hang out with my husband, I rather eat with him, I do everything with him. Some people said he’s controlling me and doesn’t let me have friends but my husband is my best friend, he see the ugly and nasty about me and also the beautiful and pretty too. I choose to hang out with my husband over anyone, I just enjoy our time been together and just having random conversations about things. And besides my husband knows how to take care of me when I’m sick, or have to stay at the hospital and he brings me food. I’m glad that I was able to marry my best friend.

Thank you for this song! The first 5 years of marriage my husband and I fought like crazy.. not one day do we not fight. Both our families were so tired of us fighting all the time that they ask we separate. Before we made the decision to go our separate ways, our daughter fell sick, was hospitalized & eventually passed away. During those 6 months that our daughter was in the hospital, we leaned on each other to get through the tough times and realized we needed each other, we just needed to reconnect. It’s been 14 years since we got married and still going strong.

I dont understand how couples who fight constantly are able to carry on and stay in a loveless unhappy marriage. Your kids want to see you happy so don't force yourself to stay for them.
