C.J. Underwood and Barbara Stutts introduce the live mid-day show on July 14. By now, many of the Channel 3 stars of the '60s and '70s are gone. Clyde McLean, Betty Feezor, Alan Newcomb, Pat Lee and Jim Patterson have died; others have retired or moved on. Lynn Bradley Love interviews Jim Babb for a look ahead. Mike McKay and Hugh Harkey in the Pine Terrace remember the talent whose photos adorn the walls. Lori OgilvieThomas presents the news; C.J. gives the weather.

I’m the daughter of Pat Lee, and spent many of my formative years scuttling around the studios of “BT.” I’ve been grateful throughout my life for the warmth and care shown to me as a youngster by all of the members of the WBT/WBTV family 💗

who would have thought that 25 yrs ago that wbtv predicted all the technology that we use today.

I think it's interesting to see how much things have changed since 1989 and that was a big time for the area because of Hurricane Hugo. I can remember people selling shirts saying "I survived Hugo". This is an incredible video of WBTV and I found the part interesting where the man was talking about "The new technology of HDTV" lol well we know what that means now but it was cool to listen to him predict it in the future but obviously it didn't happen exactly like he said in 1995 as he thought.
