Howdy, william! Well, I hope you sold the heck out of both models on the opening day and that by the time the pre-sale ends you will be maxed out with making these killer blades. There’s a lot of great reviews of the master outdoorsman on here but pretty much nothing on the Fieldlore other than the info in your last couple videos. To whet our whistles with all this anticipation that will continue to mount until sometime in March or April I’m hoping if things slow down a bit for you that you can make a nice review video of the Fieldlore, the thought and evolution of it as well as its uses as a camp/bushcraft/hunting knife. I went with the Rosewood scales! Happy to wait for the knife and proud to support an American craftsman. Thanks again!

I just couldn't help myself-ordered the Field Lore Knife in Orange sure touch. I am fan of Ray Mears and even it is not a Ray Mears knife but a nod to it. I couldn't help not liking both designs. SSSHHH!! Don't tell my wife!!!

Your wood lore is the best yet. I made a puko with red pins. Gotta say its kind of alarming when ya look down a see red. Orange & Slime green pins is my favorite. Keep grinding & go fish. :"-)

I'm thinking I should have waited for the Master Outdoorsman...that flex is awesome! It looks like a phenomenal fish blade! I got a Slim ordered though so I will see how it does.

Wish I'd seen this when it went live. They look impressive. I have two blackhat bushcraft knives. I liked the first one so much I got a second. I love the suretouch handles. I'd love to see a neon green suretouch. I'm hoping to get a nessy after the reviews I've seen. Where is a good place to get a kydex sheath for them?

Great vid! I really like the wood lore. Might be my next knife. I have 2 of your knives and blackbird is by far my best knife! Love it! I feel guilty that I haven't been able to buy more of your knives, but money is really really tight right now. Unrelated, but what is people's fixation about beating their knives through wood? I grew up in Colorado mountains and spent my summers and some of the winter in yhe wilderness and I never even thought of batoning my knife. Well take care,be safe,and God bless you!

William, MO at ~3oz and overall ~9" is a sweet combo. Was all set for the Fieldlore (more that the Master Carver is on the back burner, 😮‍💨) - then you showed the flex of the MO and I'm torn. Any chance you can show a video filleting a fish?
