@wcknives A good pocketable fixed blade has been an elusive animal! I have come up with a few that were good, but they still lacked something. I am pretty sure that this is the right design. It should do anything from carving to kitchen to day to day utility.

Don’t have a finished signature but the Jr is about 1.5” shorter.

By happy happenstance we were just the other day out back gathering fence poles, when my wife asked me "...and where is my William Collins knife?" I have three and am also fond of giving her more knives than she desires, so this was a pertinent question. I do believe that the Juniorlore is going to be her William Collins knife.

I used to carry a Frost's Mora 2-3/4" "Sloyd" knife Solid steel heavier than the finer carving Mora's (102 and 120) in the 90's when I was carving a lot. No flack about the steel in Soyderco, except the handle of the PM 2 because it cuts in your hand. The Microtechnology Socom Elite with 204P is great steel for a heavy duty knife that can do some fine work. Not as good as a Fieldlore. I think your Jr. Fieldlore will hit the right spot for many. I think I would prefer a leather pocket sheath with a liner. Keep up your passion for better edges.

To place the order you must select yes or no for the kydex sheath and also select handle material. Everything looks fine on my end and yes as stated the listing is live till the 18th.

William, will the Suretouch handles on the Jr be slightly larger than the micarta handles? Per your earlier video on handle geometry suretouch vs micarta? I have med large glove size. Thanks

No, using 3/16” suretouch scales with a 1/16” liner. Like in the thin handle Chef knife video. Micarta and Suretouch are both 1/4” total with the liners on the shuretouch. It’s the 3/8” scales that come thicker than 3/8” for some reason.
