semi context: dbd servers were having problems and the match ended up being delayed 2/2:30 hours, that's why they allowed calamity to ff

The spoiler protection was absolutely diabolical. Kudos for this amazing addition. Always disliked how the length of the video or timestamps can spoil the results of a competitive match in any game.

Just saying, on the first down at the school bus, the commentator said that the Adam was unaware of Billy's curve update, but that was quite the opposite of what happened. The survivor expected a curve to counter optimal pathing, and the Billy let the rev go down for just a moment and outplayed Adam knowing Adam would expect the curve and go wide. It was a mindgame on a mindgame.

Someone else already said it but Zaka and Knightlight are both more consistent than Xeno is from what I know. Xeno is definitely the most interesting killer player though. Doesn't always make safe plays and sometimes get punished terribly for it but it's usually interesting

@@deykuzorI’d say xeno is a bit better than knightlight imo, he plays a lot more killers than kl and xeno has been incredibly consistent these past few months. In fact I’d say elysiums strongest sets have been xeno’s killer sets even over some of zakas sets. All three are incredible players though

It ends already. Ely wins by 3-1, Cal forfeit due to disconnection. The rest of "Spoiler Screen" is just to prevent spoiled result, to make it looks like 5 rounds.

D@mn this match was sooooo powerfull even though short, that's when you know you dealing with two giants in the DBDL Comp scene. I must tip my hat to Xeno. No matter how flamboyant he is. You have to give props where props is due. His killer and survivor is definately top TIER. Shame Calamity had such a smooth run even against Sinners which had many dominating games. Well done to both teams. Thanks DBDL casters and Team for another smoking hot showcase

I dont understand how you cannot deny a forefit? Because surely the teams could go in and just die anyway

I think you might have used an improper double negative? Did you mean you don’t understand how they COULD deny a forfeit? I think it has to do with manners/etiquette. Quitting a game just because you’re losing is bad manners and rude to the other team. So maybe there’s a rule that says forfeiting also forfeits your position in the tournament?

@@Jam3s22I wasn’t making fun of you. I was asking for clarification, so I don’t know why you having likes on a comment has any relevancy to my reply. At any rate, I think my answer is the same though. Purposely playing poorly is bad manners and shouldn’t be permitted in any sport. There’s a gray area where you can purposely through matches to get a preferred matchup against another team. I think it’s just good all around to NOT allow players to intentionally play poorly or disrespect the other team by forfeiting.

when Ruin goes down, you have Pop as a backup. it was run on old Ruin too for the same reason

Yeah man comp players are idiots?? The answer you’re looking for is virtually everything worth running is banned on blight. Brutal, pain res, agi, grim, all banned. All aura perks are banned as well. ruin+pop are the strongest slowdowns left available. Once ruin goes down you have pop + dying light for slowdown.

@@Ghosta085 I know that they're banned, but seeing highly progressed gen regress when you have pop makes me angry cuz that perk combo has such a painful anti-synergy. The fact that players still go for it says a lot about how bans got out of hand
