I got super excited to see another WCT video in my subs and then I laughed really hard when I saw it was a video with Apex and the time stamp was less than 8 minutes XD

Crazy stat. Only one person, Ethan from APK Gray, has gotten an evasion off of Apex. Apex has tagged every single other evader. If anyone wants even a chance to beat them, they've got to step up their evasion game.

Great match. I loved Seth's entrance on the start plate, doing his extravagant animation like some platformer mini-boss. I did expect this match to go the way it did. What makes Apex such a challenging team I think, is that whereas most players tend to be better at tagging or evading, but rarely both, Apex have four members that excel at both (Rob, Michael, Jason, and Seth). They're so lightning fast. When they're chasing they make smart moves that give them flexibility, so they seldom lose momentum. And when evading, they know to dart to a safe spot, look back, and dash off again as soon as their chaser has committed (this is how Kyle Soderman, and Mark Bowles have seen the success they have, along with the other 190+ point athletes, like Sean Law, Cian O'Maitiu and Jarrod Luty). Stephen and Fernando gave the most heat to Apex. But I think for the most part, several members of Ollo either took too long navigating a move after committing (notably at the entrance to the Tilted Cube), or kept stopping, waiting for Apex to make a move. But the problem there is...you're giving your evader time to get a check on *exactly* what you're going to do next. Next match will be very interesting. I am rooting for APK Grey. Mark, Frank, and Ethan are fantastic players. But I don't think it will be enough. I would love to be surprised.

Jason is not only an amazing player but also a good sport, he stuck out his hand out good sportsmanship but unfortunately, Stephen didn't notice 6:31, even then he blew him kisses.

I know that most comments are about apex win. But If I may, I want to say that LUKE has improved so much since the tournament began, give that kid some training and I can see him wrecking shop in future WCT tournaments. Great effort from Ollo. Also Stephen is a great chaser loved his chase against Rob.

Wow! Strong performance by Apex, particularly Seth and Jason. What still amazes me even more is the sportmanship in WCT. I rarely see participants in other sports of such scale to admit defeat that naturally and quickly as here. Feels like friends just having a good time. Love it. As noted in Chase 1, the sportsmanship is one of the best parts of this game. Maybe if they were playing for a huge pile of money there would be more "DTR or it didn't happen" but for now the game holds on to its roots: kids playing a fun game of tag in the backyard.

I'm so glad I ended up watching the APK Blue v Grey and Apex v Ollo matches back to back. I can't wait for the match up I've been wanting this whole time!

OLLO has proven to be a really good team with good balancing, so it shows just how much of a dark horse APEX is by just destroying them withought a sweat. now we just have to see how they are able to fair agenst a monster like mark or kyle and they can win.

I saw this matchup and... Well, I'm surprised it stayed 4-0. Apex at this point are my favorites to win it while Ollo I think got too far on an easy bracket. No diss to Ollo, they've played well in several matches and shown me wrong on more than one occasion, but they are nowhere near the level of Apex. Seth and Jason are two of the fastest people to touch the quad in this tournament, no surprise to see them both pick up evasions. Rob as well is one of my favorites on the Apex team, he too got a point. We still have yet to see Amos, but I'm told he's absolutely devastating on the quad. It'll be fun to see if that comes true and Apex bring him out against APK Grey or even against HWF/GNF in the finals. I wanted to talk about a few of the inefficient chasing lines we saw from Ollo, but it feels like kicking them while they're down and I don't think taking marginally better lines would've done much to stop this beast of an Apex team. I'm so excited for Apex vs APK Grey! That matchup was so *so* good last time and I want both teams to come out swinging again! Same for HWF/GNF. I'm a little confused why they arranged the bracket this way, giving us a strong likelihood of seeing teams from the same groups end up in the semis instead of putting them as far apart as possible, but when we get these kinds of matchups, I'm not going to complain too much! Really excited for next week!
