Oh Nathan is here lifetime it just took awhile for Elizabeth to admitt she was in love with Nathan because of fear to be in a relationship with him. So then she got into that safe, comfortable, & uncomplicated relationship until she ended it with Lucas. So, glad Nathan & Elizabeth are a couple!!!

Just curious, how did you guys feel about the moments when Lucas and Elizabeth "almost kissed" twice and spending the day together to meet an author? Or how he gave Jack a teddy bear? I can see your point of view on them building your hopes up, because I'm a Team Lucas fan but thought it would be Nathan. However, I wasn't blindsided. So, I wanted to see more of y'all point of view.

@@cieralove7755 It seemed inappropriate for her to travel with him alone. At least in the times of the series it was not customary. I appreciate that she said she was not ready both times they nearly kissed. I did not feel that using the reason for not going with Nathan was related to memories of Jack. Elizabeth did not show confusion over who Nathan was in any scenes. It seemed like a lame excuse. I'm disappointed with the writing and the series. I will try to wrap my head around her being with Lucas. I think now that he has conquered her, he may show real faults. His initial move to Hope Valley was suspect. I think that they are stiff and uncomfortable with each other. We shall see how the writing improves. I'm not happy that as one of the producer's, Erin Krakow was willing to go against the 70% of viewers. It was not cool to toy with us.

If so, they decided that before that poll because the actor that plays Lucas stated that they filmed it 9 months prior (which is something you probably wouldn't know). I state this because they filmed this in July-November and the poll started in February of this year and poll ended 2 months ago. So, I can see why you feel the writers are playing with your feelings if you didn't know that.

I hope you're back. Our broken hearts have been restored in season 11 not to mention Nathan's!!

S11, episode 11 proves she was in love with Nathan and that Nathan was in love with her too! Its not Lucas after all! 😂 Nathan and Elizabeth forever! ❤ 😊

It happened! Elizabeth was in love with Nathan just fearful of a relationship with him. So Elizabeth rejected Nathan in S8. Lucas kept pursuing Elizabeth & she thought he was a safe, comfortable, & uncomplicated choice. S11 was the best!!!! ❤ I can't wait until S12! 😊
