He's signed for supercross 1 year with an option for 2, nothing for moto and I don't think there's an option for it either, I think he's done with motocross. But I'd rather get 2 supercross seasons out of him than 1 more of both... However, since this new supermotocross thing, he may be forced to race a few for the combined points, which once you qualify the points reset for the final 3 rounds and worth double the points but its Olympic scoring. The downside to a bad qualifying spot, you get the amount of points of your qualifying position, so if you qualify first you get 1 point, 20th you get 20, so you'd need to be top 10 if you want a good shot at winning that million...and I doubt Tomac wouldn't race it, not for that much extra money for 3 races and he'd need to be in a good qualifying spot... I don't know, that throws a big wrench into supercross only. Maybe instead he goes to WSX and then races SMX playoffs from wherever he qualified, which if he ended up top 5 by the end that's still good money... I wish he could heal quick enough to do it this year, but depending on severity of the tear it's anywhere from 4-8 months plus getting fitness back and seat time.

I think if Chase had stayed healthy and not missed those rounds he would have Jett in the deep end of the pool by now.

@@deanbrantley It's a similar what if and I agree Chase is better than he's been shown this season, he is not a great, yet, Eli is / was. Chase pushed Eli all the way last year, but didn't come out on top.
