Күн бұрынThe Western Dedicated Freight Corridor or Western DFC is a 1,504 km long, under-construction broad gauge freight corridor in India. It will connect Dadri in Uttar Pradesh with Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor or Eastern DFC is an under-construction broad gauge freight corridor in India. The railway will run between Ludhiana in Punjab and Dankuni (near Kolkata) in West Bengal via Khurja in Uttar Pradesh. This railway line is one of the multiple freight corridor being implemented by the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL). The Eastern DFC will mostly have double tracks and will be electrified, but the section from Ludhiana to Khurja (365 km) will be single line electrified due to lack of space. This freight corridor will cover a total distance of 1,839 km. This corridor is having a 46 km branch line which is joining Khurja (Bulandshahr district) on the Eastern DFC with Dadri (Gautam Buddha Nagar district) on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (Western DFC).

Currently indian government doing fantastic job towards development of roads railways air water ways energy and defence sector. Faster transportation is key for agriculture tourism logistics industries all sector get boom once get good infrastructure. railways improvements last 10 years considerably clean stations platform new modern train electric doubling double track bil toilets so much good initiative by current indian government and railways. good work

1 THREE Gujarat ports are nearly or already connected to WDFC. It is not necessary for goods on freight trains to reach JNPT New Bombay for export! 2 There is likely delay in last stretch of EDFC from Bihar to MB's WB (Probably because she isn't cooperating with the Railways she mishandled for 9 year in UPA). But this isn't important as exports can happen thru Gujarat and New Bombay 3 Many coal fields in Bihar/ Jhar/ UP are being connected to EDFC thru new lines to expedite coal movement to power and cement units along EDFC and WDFC from Bihar in east to Mah in west! 4 Many cement units already connected or shortly being connected to WDFC 5 Maruti has started moving cars thru DFC 6 Trucks are taking advantage of Roll On Roll Off facility being offered on opened sections, saving fuel and money because the DFC is taking them by rail for 300-600 kms at a fast steady speed. Most important is open sections of both WDFC and EDFC are already earning money moving freight. Not waiting to formally open the entire DFC!

How much work has been completed on edfc and wdfc? Please give progress report on the whole route. It is difficult to understand like this. You only show one place at a time. It would be better if you do video on where work is remaining in the whole route and where it has been completed.

Thats the right question, which i want to ask, showing great model is not enough. Show us if this plan is being carried out. Modi has taken 8 years and in this 8 years only people have struggled a lot and during corona period situation was way out of our hand. And all the sudden action taken by modi, only poor people became victim of all the suffering. From my opinion, its not important for india to compete with all the powerful nations. The real important thing is to make your people happy by providing free of cost facilities of hospitals. I see many ads of ill people, ask for donation, they sometimes ask money in crores to get 1 injection. So that must be the problem of indian gov. And poor people are still not educating their people, and if they try, they have to deal with money problem, and first of all no better education are provided by teachers to student and also you keep teacher so much busy in other work so he doesnt get enough time to teach children and also there is less availability of teachers in every sector and same thing goes to other department too.. Whatever your model of edfc wdfc seems good to me but why you are doing it now ?? I mean when elections are coming and it is close so why you are needing this project right now. If you complete this project before 2024, my vote will goes to you, if you are failed to do so, you will be worst party.

@@Theactualstoic its not completed,. Why are you taking his side. If it would have completed, the pm would have reached there to inaugurate bcoz in these year i saw him that he never misses a chance of inaugurating. I mean how far he would be from the inauguration place, he somehow will reach that place at any cost bcoz he like to get that moment captured on camera so everyone could see him and his face, all time and everywhere. The truth is, he is a camerajivi person. All he want is a photo of himself.

डिएफसी की जरूरत हैं भी या नही ये जपानने की कोशीष कभी की हैं? जो खर्चा इसके लिए हो रहा हैं उसके सामने मिलने वाले लाभ पर्याप्त हैं या नही इसकी जानकारी कभी ली हैं? जो डेड लाईन एक के बाद एक मिस हो रही हैं उसके कितना असर प्रोजेक्ट पर और प्रोजेक्ट की व्हाएबिलीटीपर होगा ये कभी सोचा हैं? सोन नगर और डांकुनी के बिचमे जो हिस्सा आता हैं उसके बारे मे कभी सोचा हैं?
