What’s the name of the company? This is Ford.

You can call this company whatever you want, they do not server the better interest of any community they operate in. I am very near commerce, GA, their first plant (and soon to be forgotten) Let me fill you in on what to expect from the facility, considering its the same people wearing a different name. -"Blue Oval SK has already gone out to multiple school systems..." Yes, I'm certain they have. They butter up your local districts, wait for for the curtain to almost be closed, then threaten to pull out over the tiniest of things. They did the same for us. -"Hiring on over 5,000 kentukians.." This is fantastic. It truly is, and when they showed up here it really was a game changer for so many. However, they mentioned NOTHING about how the facility was going to be set up. Just that it was a "city in the making" and "their will be no plant like this". I agree, you are operating VERY differently then most US operations. Here in GA we're to talk almost half a mile to and from our place of work. The parking lot is over 3 times the size of a walmart and they only recently (3 years later) provided a transport system because of how far you are mandated to walk. There is STILL no transit on post, 2 years after their started to be "talk" about them. -Hiring on over 5,000 kentukians.." I can't move past this one as easily as I'd like. They DO NOT tell you how many of these jobs are going to be filled by personnel they bring in from Korea. They repeatedly told us language barriers were not going to be an issue, yet 90% of our engineers couldn't pass a DLPT in English if their jobs depended on it. These personnel are virtually immune to the rules, will walk all over them, and you will slowly start to notice the line being drawn in the sand. I am not a caucasian male so I cannot speak from own personal experience, however, I did watch a NUMBER of caucasian males (specifically) accuse various department heads of racism, discrimination and calculated cutting of hours and overtime. The individuals in question ALL happened to be veterans of The Marine Corps. This is my own observation, yet an observation shared by many currently employed up here. "5,000 jobs and a good planet is a good deal...." Wait until the graphite is sitting on your car, that was parked hundreds of yards away and you realize....it's in the air. I wonder if this facility will have the 24/7 monster stack coming off it like ours... The security here is a little short of TSA but still and experience. Your cell phones will be covered as to not reveal the "secrets" of the company. This has nothing to do with the possibility that you're going to be seeing, doing and experiencing situations that are quite literally deemed unsafe and potentially illegal. You are required to sign an NDA that lasts for 2 years, specifying your intellectual property is theirs if you're found without this sticker on your phone. They are permitted to download anything they deem worthwhile. Overkill much? These reviews, experiences, warnings and past history can be directly referenced through google reviews, Indeed and linkedin. If this is just a conglomerate of some other major entity, they've really really messed things up. I took the time to write this because I would have wanted this warning too, sadly the facility was too new when i started. Nobody should have the right to suddenly deduct your hours from 48 to barely 25. Nobody. Especially not a multi billion dollar company. I can't wait to start reading reviews from other states. I can't wait until we realize we let in the wrong company. I can't wait. 모두를 실망시켰다.
