ToeJam and Earl have crash-landed back on Earth in ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!, a funky fresh rogue-like adventure infused with old skool hip-hop and jam packed with awesome throwbacks to the 1991 classic. Original Funk Lord (and co-creator) Greg Johnson is back at the helm with the sequel that ToeJam and Earl fans have been waiting for!
The iconic ‘90s duo is back in the groove with all-new presents to help them navigate this wack planet "Earth" and retrieve all the lost pieces to the Rapmaster Rocket. Team up for co-op play to discover secret locations, hidden presents and new friends as you make your way through a constantly changing and unpredictable world! The original game was well ahead of it's time in every aspect Procedural Generation Emergent Gameplay And even it's multiplayer which has real team work, split screen and players could still go to seperate levels and everything One thing the game did very well that many games lack now is "Resource Management" Was a key part of the game Can't wait for the full release of this I probably spent more time on this over any other game as a kid

If you ever want to go to a secret level, you can use presents to find other land on level one. When you find another island that has a hole in it jump through it and you go to a secret level called level zero. My uncle told me this and I wanted to check it out and the developers actually included it in the game. So ye this is just a little Easter egg

This games legit the same underlying game as the Sega version... just with flash game graphics. Instead of, well... the good genesis graphics. I was honestly a bit let down with the minimal effort that went into this. But, yeah... those rocket shoes for sure still do what they've always done. The paved roads let you move a little faster with whatever means of movement you're using. And well... legit, everything does what it's always done, exactly the same way.
