I love 5am Pearl especially during Double Life? I'm not sure due to poor memory but it was one of the life series where she was acting crazy and lived in a tower so I think it was Double Life.

If you plan on keeping the foil TFC on display get yourself a touch case or at the very least a top loader in addition to the sleeve. They will help keep it safe and protected better than just a sleeve. (If using a toploader besure to orient the sleeve and toploader in different directions, sleeve upsidedown/toploader rightsideup.)

one can also consider double/triple sleeving before the toploader too, additional protection for the card, and double sleeving when done properly will confer protection against liquid spills

Look up Frameamajigs. Gives a nice Frame for any cards you want to put in it.

@@ChiaZachary i'm not sure what size the cards are but some manufacturers offer (inner) sleeves that are sealable. they provide slightly better protection against water (including air humidity which might be important in case of foils), dust, and it's not possible for a card to slip out of it. i would recommend those for all cards and then get outer sleeves in addition for the ones in the deck being played. for shelf display you can get special frames (for example two pieces of plexiglass with bolts in the corners and a stand) but keep in mind that almost any colored ink will degrade in uv (colors will become bleached) so keeping cards exposed to direct sunlight is not a good idea. better hang them on a wall that sun does not directly shine on.

@@m1gr3nA to be fair, while yes, sealable inners provide a bit of extra protection, the amount granted when double/triple sleeving not sufficient such that it is worth the extra hassle i feel. One can always refer to the Professor's (Tolarian Community College) sleeve reviews for what he recommends for sleeving and such for each layer (inner, outer, over)

The Elven Kiss looks just like a Peanut Butter Blossom. I’m not sure if they are common in the UK but a quick google search should connect the dots. It’s essentially a peanut butter cookie with a Hershey’s kiss chocolate on top

I hope the community made a HC TCG card game that's playable in mobile so I can join multiplayer and play with some other people. Love the contribution Hermitcraft gives to us.

I loved the cards. I also got a Foil TFC card myself, it's just sad he wasn't here to witness it all. His time came, yet for everyone else it felt like it was too early. For everyone that got their cards, enjoy them as much as you can, and maybe I can meet others and play against or trade cards!

Ooooo this was so fun!!! I was SO excited when I unboxed my cards!! I managed to get 4 iskalls LOL. But my favorite card was my collector's card, since I got a SIGNED CUBFAN. Gotta love getting your favorite hermit by complete chance!

Cool to see yours, my collector's edition card was a signed Scar, which I'm so happy about. I totally agree about the quality of all the components, really impressive and nice. Only regret for me was not buying 2 starter sets so i could play with others, but it was a collection thing to begin with

aaaaa seeing the irl cards makes me really wish i'd gotten some hermit packs back when the tcg was on sale. I'm not interested in playing the game all that much, but being able to display the cards and try pulling for my favourite hermits would have been so fun..! Oh well, I guess I'll just keep an eye out in the unlikely case there's ever a re-run

Pix made me cry, just by his gleeful review of the Hermit TCG cards he had gotten. Appreciate his positive and happy persona so very much! Pixlriffs is a stellar creator! Would love it Pix was invited to be a "hermit" one day!

It was confirmed at one point that the recap team wouldn't be invited to become hermits themselves, but Pixl has been on the server as part of the crossover event with Empires. He even recorded an episode of the recap live on the server!

I love the way that the art of the Foil TFC looks. I didn't really get a chance to follow him after I found Hermitcraft, but his passing still hit me kind of hard.

My box was pretty busted (especially my booster box, which I'll just have to get rid of, because it's half crushed), but the cards are all in perfect condition so I'm really grateful. The main game box just has a single crease, which is another blessing. When they talked about the shipping, I did get a little concerned. Sad it's not in perfect condition, especially the booster, but love it all the same. I didn't even consider possibly needing more than one set to play decently different games together ('cause I don't know anyone who watches Hermitcraft). Glad I got the booster. Didn't have more than 90 bucks to shell out for this game, so I didn't really have a choice anyway, if I did consider it.

I'm happy that I got 23/26 Hermits in my cards. I need to do some trading and playing! My special card was Cub. I didn't get any signed cards... bummer.

1:20 I love how you explain how you all split up the watch duty for Hermitcraft. For some reason, I just assumed one person watched everyone's episodes. That would have been extremely difficult to doby now that I think about it. Especially when the season started or when all the hermits are really active and pumping out lots of episodes, lol. I also want to know who is the lucky one to watch DOCs movie length episodes 😂

Zloy used to watch everyone and write the script on his own during Season 4, but by the time S5 began, we decided to split watching between both of us. It saved him a lot of effort, the script became collaborative, and meant I had a lot better context for some of the stuff I was reading in the voiceover!

The Elven cookies remind me of a dessert my mother and I enjoy called peanut butter blossoms. It's a peanut butter cookie, but before the cookie is done baking, you pull the tray out and press a Hershey's kiss into the center. Obviously, Scar's cookies have that violet color, meaning it's something perhaps a bit more special than a drop of chocolate, but the correlation is still there.

We were a little delayed and got a second Xmas this year due to some travel issues, but I was finally able to open my pre-order pack (that I may or may not have ordered for myself and was sent from 'Santa'). Opened mine this morning and got a signed Docm77! the kiddo and I were super excited.

I have always been impressed by the incredible professionalism and quality product of all of the Hermitcraft members, old and new. It is obvious that they sacrificed absolutely NONE of this mindset when creating this physical product. I am in awe - kudos! Oh, the recap crew too - I don't have time to watch all of the episodes by even my favorites - but the recap at least lets me keep up with them. Another kudos to that trio!

This was some sweet pulls. Does anyone else feel like your deck were made just for you cus I was stoked with mine. I got a Graded and Signed Doc. Also does anyone else have a signed Docm77? Mine was signed: Doc #77 Does that mean anything or that's how he does his signatures?

It was so fun to unbox the cards as you did, to see this game from the videos and streams come out in real life. In my slabbed card I was lucky enough to get a signed VintageBeef card, it was so nice to have one signed by the creator of the game.

BDubs was also my chaperone through Minecraft KZfaq. I've been watching him ever since MindCrack UHC 3. When he went to Hermitcraft, I followed him there. And from there the Life series introduced me to the Empires people.
