My husband and I got a puppy like so quick and we had the SAME experience. Literally regretted it but he’s nearly 5 months and so much better. Can’t wait until he’s over a year too!

my bf and I had the exact convo when we got our puppy!!! they’re no joke and we’re so thankful it worked out the way it did now we can’t imagine our lives without her. it’s legit like having a baby. so glad she stayed with y’all!!!

Couldn’t agree more! My husband and I have 2 dogs. Ours are 3 and the other just turned 1. We got our 3 year old as a 1.5 year and he was a breeze!! Our now 1 year old we got as a 8week old pup. Oh boy was that a journey. Thank gosh for my husband because I definitely went through the stage where I was stuck at home with her and she would have accidents and tear up stuffed toys/beds. Love seeing the progress of kennel training, potty training, obedience etc- but it was so hard at first!

My boyfriend and I had the same situation with our puppy. We got an Australian Shepherd and it was pretty rough in the beginning and it put stress on our relationship because we were so irritable and frustrated that it affected our relationship. I agree it’s like having a baby. No sleep, waking up all night, kennel training is so hard with the barking and winning and chewing on things. We for sure went through a stressful time adjusting to a puppy too
