The genuine fact that it’s even THINKABLE you could ever “100%” a game meant to be infinite is insane.

Something no one talks about is the bounties. Each remaining level has at least a $90 dollar bounty on it, and Trimming the Herbs? As of now, $870

this is actually so cool. nintendo announces that the servers are ending, then everyone just works together to beat literally every level in a game where players can make as many of their own levels as they want.

Exile (the 3lap level) is still unbeaten. Kouki0408 has two levels yet to be cleared, he’s the last creator with more than one level left. I’m offering a ten dollar bounty for each of those levels. Also shoutout Cryptid! Update: Six levels left, and Kouki has been defeated.

A few things about that 3 lap rng piranha level. 1. This was a remix of the first viral hard level, created on the first day of Mario Maker. 2. The person who holds the WR on this level made this triple version. 3. The RNG at the end isn't as bad as stated (its basically a coin flip) but the speedrun itself is VERY underrated.

This is probably my last stats comment: -There are 11 levels left -2 of them are SMB, 1 SMW and 8 are NSMBU. -Only one of them is non-JP: Trimming The Herbs by Ahoyoo (Canada). It's also considered the hardest uncleared level left. Not only that, it has already been considered the hardest level left when we still had 1000 levels to beat. -Speaking of TTH, it's also both the oldest uncleared level and the most attempted one, with a ridiculous number of 56,533 attempts. Meanwhile, the least attempted level has 978 attempts, which is also the only level with under 1000 attempts. Funnily enough, the least attempted level is considered to be the hardest NSMBU level. -There are only 2 makers with more than 1 level: Mint and PoPo. -There are only 4 themes left: castle, ghost house, airship and cave. Ground, despite being one of the most common themes, was the first to fall. -If you're wondering about the year stats: 2017, 2018 and 2019 have 3 levels each, and 2020 has 2. -There are only 10 months to beat, and 11 days. There isn't a single uncleared day with more than one level. -There are only 7 timers left in the game: 20, 50, 60, 80, 110, 130, 170, 500. All of these timers are in only one uncleared level, except for 50, which is in 4 levels. The 20s level is the spring consistency level, and the 500s level is TTH, which, funnily enough, is actually only 12 seconds long. -Since there are over 10 million levels uploaded in total, uncleared levels account for 0.00011% (1 in 900k) of total levels. When the upload function was disabled in 2021, there were 50k levels left (including hacked clears), which means we have beaten about 99.98% of uncleared levels so far. -36 unique people have beaten a level in the final 100 so far. The most clears has been achieved by Fritzef, with 8 clears out of the last 100. Thabeast721 has 6, SomeBro, y.k, Norway, Krypta and Demon have 5.

watch, within 2-3 business days all the remaining levels will be cleared with about half a month to spare. This community is great to watch, and I am astonished with their dedication to this challenge

I am not a Mario Maker player, but a player of something somewhat similar, Geometry Dash. Doing something like this in an editor based game is such an amazing thing to see, and you guys' dedication/love for the game is honestly one of most wholesome things I've ever seen in the gaming community. Man, it isn't even Spring yet and we're already nearly there. Luckily the clear rate of the last few levels is multiplicative. The less levels there are, the more people can focus on each one, meaning they'll get cleared faster and faster up to the last one...

I used to play mario maker a long time ago. I made a level and that was pretty much it. I knew nobody was going to play it, but now someone has. I don't care if they didn't like it, I just like that someone played it

Before the servers are shut down has anyone archived everything off of it? Levels acounts comments times ect.? It wouldnt be very usefull but its such an important part of this history it would be a shame to have all of it wiped forever never to be seen again If there isnt an archive already someone should really do so

I was questioning how the hell that boot spike level was even verified, but then I remembered that it was MM1 spike hitboxes instead of MM2 spike hitboxes. I'm convinced a level like that wouldn't exist in MM2 without a dev block 🤔

my dad made a level using the one way conveyor belt thing, that was the only thing in the level but they were all facing different directions, it took us 16 hours to post it, then it got taken down for being 'impossible' :(
