Yes, all our ancestors originated in Africa. Some stayed in Africa, some left Africa. I am a middle-aged white man who grew up in the South. Even then, I always found it peculiar when black people were referred to as "colored" and European Americans as "white." That would imply that "white" was some sort of original color and anything that wasn't white was colored. But isn't white a color? And "white" is not even a skin tone. If anything, most of us "white" folks should be called "light pinks."

I seen a lot of hatred in this town too. But I still remember my childhood and how life should be. I’m married now to a beautiful woman of European and native bloodlines.
