USD is not pegged against gold. Once upon a time before the 1970s, true, but now USD is pegged against nothing. Better yet, it's pegged against their national debt. Countries like Japan and China has since dumped all or most of their US bonds. They no longer buying US debt. That is why it's absolutely ridiculous that Ghana pegs it's currency against USD.

They talk the talk when they want to get the job. He should address the issue of Ghana giving away its resources - take that recent lithium deal 90/10 contract to that Australian company- the 10% won't benefit Ghanaian citizens. However, 90% would do wonders for the Ghanaian economy and help to build much needed infrastructure.

ghana is africas biggest gold exporter, 4 million ouces exported and thats just the official number, the real figure could be 5 million ounces, just imagine THAT 5 MILLION *2400 an ounce. Thats 13 billion usd flowing out each year, 50 billion £ sterling worth of gold has been smuggled out of ghana in the last 6 years. read 50 billion stolen.

True Economic freedom is what we want as youths that's so...we want to control our own economy as africans Ghanaians youths. He explained that in one of his presentations; he said Ghanaians he reached out to declined. They didn't want to "show their face" (they could lose their job, followers, fans, etc.). By the way, that was what happened. The GH Immigration Service made a case against the lady and had her deported.
