This was the moment I realized this channel wasn’t just about a funny cursing Irishman, but of one person transforming some time spent talking to a camera into a beacon of hope to millions of individual lives, gaining people’s respect through laughter and happy times, and utilizing the unexpected spotlight to do some good. It gives me hope.

I ran a run to raise suicide awareness last Saturday. My friend lost her sister because of suicide. It sucks to lose a loved one. No one should have to feel unloved, so much that they kill themselves.

Has anyone ever known that Jack is actually the most respected and loved youtuber ever...and he deserves to be loved because he is different from all the other you tubers this is because he is always trying to make the problem better

I seriously regret being a Logan Paul fan

I know this video is old...I know this isn't even slightly whats trending right now...and I doubt jack will even see this comment....but I wanted to say how thankful I am for this video and his actions around this event. I watch this video and the live stream on nights like this when I can't sleep and feel alone. It helps remind me that there are good people out there and people who understand what its like to live this way. *okay so totally didn't mean for this to happen but I end up going into a semi-graphic story of my suicide attempt so stop reading here and skip to the end if that stuff bothers you* I am someone who has had suicide thoughts and been put into a mental hospital for 10 days a lil while after an attempt. Sometimes people who don't suffer from mental illness don't understand when you try and talk to them. Family and friends are often seem lost, confused, or even angry with you for feeling the way you do. And living with mental illness amplifies how you see their possible negative reactions. It leaves you feeling so alone, so terrified of yourself, so completely outta touch with reality that suicide seems like the only option. I grew up thinking it was normal that sometimes I would think about pulling in front of a semi on a two lane highway or would have a momentary thought of jumping when walking across a bridge. I was raised not to talk to anyone but family about the "dirty laundry", and family didn't ever understand where these thoughts came from. I always saw it as they thought I was attention seeking, or being over dramatic. It brought me to a place that I felt so isolated, so misunderstood, so empty that suicide seemed like a better and better option. I tried filling the hole in my chest in unhealthy ways, (eating too much, meaningless sex with random strangers, drugs like heroin and methamphetamines). And obviously each of those methods just deeped my pain. It eventually got to the point that I no longer hand control over any aspect of my life due to this illness and my addictions. I cant remember the exact date but sometime in July 2017 I tried suicide via overdose with heroin. I remember knowingly doing too much and slowly feeling it take over me. I started to let go mentally saying goodbye to all my loved ones one by one. It got to feeling harder and harder to breathe and being okay with that. When I got down in my family tree to my nieces and nephews something clicked in my mind. "What will they tell the kids? I don't want my family to hear I died cold and alone on the concrete floor of some strangers garage." I suddenly felt the urge to fight. I survived my attempt and I am so thankful for it. I wish I could say I immediately sought the mental help I needed after that. It took an emergency family intervention to save me from myself. I finally got to talk to somebody who could help. Anyways It is so important for the door to be open for people suffering with mental illnesses to freely talk and at least try to explain what's going on. They have got to know they are not alone. There is somewhere to go. I don't know if any of this makes sense at all. Its 6:30 in the morning, I haven't slept and have been crying the whole time writing this. I just wanted to thank Sean for his generosity and his efforts to raise awareness for suicide prevention. Because without these helplines and loving people I wouldn't be here.

And KZfaq didn't even pull anything from him... They didn't even think twice when Poodz made a mistake but Logan does that and he still has sponsored. Not saying youtube biased but youtube is biased.

I have someone in my life who has mental illness and I’m glad I still have that person because the give me so much support. Going back and watching old videos after I came out of the hospital for a suicide attempt and I stumble across this. There's so many things I want to say but it all comes down to two words: Thank you. Jack and this community have been a happy escape for so many years and important to remember how many amazing people there are in this world that I can reach out to.
