Sounds awesome! Can you post a flyby video please? It's hard to imagine how loud the bike is just from the garage sound...

Hey, I have 2017 Bmws1000r Stock. I have bought a dominator mid piple/decat. I am going to cut the muffler/cat with a milwakee thin metal cutter. I will slap on the the dominator mid pipe and leave the stock akra exhaust on. Any thoughts on this do I need a tune/dyno after this change. Also, can I just leave the servo cables hanging somewhere/tucked away would it turn on the check engine light?

Hey, can you suggest where to get the de cat pipe from? So this De cat pipe is the full header?

I will suggest to go with some known companies like mivv or something like that,yes when you remove the catalytic converter you basically have full system.

Did you end up taking it for a tune or not? I got my 2017 decatted a couple months ago, but still use the stock Akra pipe.

Hey I am planning to do the same on my 2017 s1000r next week with domintor mid pipe. Let me know if there are any tips. Also, what did you do with the two steel cables on the original cat.

@@Motogents oh I bet. The camera mic never does it justice. Hopefully I can straight pipe mine soon. Even with the SC slip on I can still hear some engine noise

Did you ecu tune the bike afterwards or dont you think its necessary?

I didn’t and it is not necessary,but I would recommend it,i will probably do brentune as soon my bike is done?

Only thing that I noticed is the bike is a little twitchy in low rpm but just a little bit nothing crazy .

Did you have to remove or loosen the radiator and oil cooler?

You don’t have to remove radiators,but it helps if you loosen bottom hanger of radiators,that will give enough space to undo your headers.

I don't think I could I'd have to buy a donner exhaust. At least when it's time to sell I could provide oem exhaust. Also woow insanely loud.. The first time I've ever said its rather keep the CAT
