Our first full day onboard MSC Preziosa was a Sea Day and we got to experience a range of activities, entertainment and food. We dined in the main dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner and were humbled by the service and consideration of the restaurant team during our evening meal. We got to experience Treasure Island, a pirate themed show, in the main theatre and in the Safari lounge we took part in the teams talent show.

MSC Preziosa is a Fantasia-class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. She entered service in March 2013. The ship has a variety of entertainment menus, bars and restaurants situated over 18 decks. We have compiled this full ship tour and have been given exclusive access to MSC's Premium experience Yacht Club!
We took a cruise on MSC Preziosa in October 2022 out of Ocean Terminal in Southampton. This was our second MSC cruise. During the cruise we visited ports in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France over 7 nights.

We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.
Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.

I’ve only ever done one MSC cruise on the Virtuosa - all the pasta was excellent I think made onboard inc the best ravioli I’ve had on a cruise. I’d be with you dancing off the late night snacks too! I always go up just for a look and always end up with something!😉

All that food at dinner and you still had pizza later we could not stop laughing and Tom searching the cabin all night for a noise that would be me. Your comments on the pirate show sound like us saying what was that all about but still enjoyed it.

Hi Rae thanks for commenting 😀 We did over indulge a little 😂 but we were on holiday 😂 it was definitely not the best night sleeps Tom has had on a cruise, but fortunately the noise did die down! Most definitely the pirate show was entertaining but we did leave a little confused 😀

@11:16 The dining locations and food on Preziosa looks exceptional. @13:53 Wow!!! What a dining moment. It looks incredible - A 12 out of 10 experience. @20:44 Credit to Tom for having 'a-go' at almost anything on these cruises🙈. Tom: Is this your 'Cruise' persona or 'Everyday Tom' persona? There was a terrible mishap on my Princess cruise but I took it in stride. 😠 I made it my mission to try out this 'cheese and chips' item I have heard so much about. Unfortunately, the fryer supporting room service had broken down therefore, my mission was deemed 'impossible'. 🍟+🧀. I have to say with an unlimited drinks package, it felt other-worldly to have anything you wanted from sunrise to sunset. My cabin was on deck 14 near the bow and it was a struggle to get back 'home' one too many a night. Having safely made it home and the holiday spirit is gone, every joint (knee, ankle, shoulder, wrist) is sore from all that walking, running, lifting, and hoisting of bags. I still don't know how you do this cycle of cruising and not require serious down-time. 🙏

Hi Chris! We were generally really impressed with the food onboard! This particular day it was outstanding and the service was superb! It’s definitely Toms personality, he loves to get involved. Oh no! You missed out on one of our most favourite experiences! We have been on a few cruises and still rave about Princesses Cheesy Chips from room service! Hopefully you managed to get some from the pool side grill! Sounds like you made the most of your Princess package! 😊 We hope you had a great time! Sounds like your cruising experience is similar to ours! It’s busy and none stop, we don’t want to miss a thing! We have nothing more booked until August this year for that purpose, just need to relax and unwind! Although if a good cruise came along we would go. 😆

Really difficult to gauge MSC food reviews....everything i see is either awful/average or outstanding.

Thanks for your comment! Totally agree with you, we had some outstanding food on MSC Preziosa, but some not so good meals as well! But overall our food experience we good for the duration of our cruise! 😀
