HIS NAME IS NOT GAAD/GOD/ G-D? “La ilaha illallah” means “there's no ILAH but ALLAH”. Is God one of the 99 names of Allah ta'ala? Did any the prophets and messengers of the most Graceous used this word to describe Him in the Taurat, Ingel or in the Glorious Quran? I see muslims and even muslim scholars using this word to describe Allah ta'ala, the most Graceous to whom belong the most beautiful names as described in the Glorious Quran. The Most Beautiful Names Belong to Allah, So Call on Him By Them. Holy Qur'an 7:180 - Gaad/God/gut or G-d is not one of them! I once ask one of my Egyptian Coptic Christian colleague about this word God which I thought was mentioned in their holy books and to my surprise he never heard about it. They refer to the Almighty creator of the heavens and earth as ALLAH. So where do us Muslims get this word Gaad/god/gut/g-d from? Of course, from our "freinds" and colleagues whom you want to please, not to offend and to blend into conversations. Or simply like me, I just didn't know. Old English god "supreme being, deity; the Christian God; image of a god; godlike person," from Proto-Germanic *guthan (source also of Old Saxon) which is of UNCERTAIN ORIGIN; perhaps from PIE *ghut- "that which is invoked." source. The Aramaic word for "God" in the language of Assyrian Christians is ʼĔlāhā, or Alaha as refered to by "Jesus" in the new testament "Elaha, Elaha lama sabatani (my lord, my lord why have thou forsaken me) as he spoke Aramaic a sister language to Arabic. Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "ALLAH" . The Christian Arabs of today have no other word for "God" than "Allah". This also explains why the German word for God, ‘Gott’, is a variant spelling of ‘goat’. It is significant that christians claimed that Jesus was a sacrificial lamb, as well as being a ‘scapegoat’. They also claimed that he was a shepherd, and that his followers were his flock of sheep/goat, which nicely links up all these seemly different ideas. This means that when Christians claimed that ‘Jesus' was God/Gott it was just another way of saying that ‘he was a shepherd’s crook/goad’ or that ‘he was a sheep or goat’. God is also another word for ones thoughts and beliefs, for it is one thoughts and beliefs that ‘goad’ us into action like a shepherd's crook and goad the things that we do. So instead of christians saying "The lord is my shepherd" one can say that the lord is my goad/gott/god. So BEWARE my Muslim brothers and sisters, refrain from using the word God to non Muslims to please them and do not fall into the devil's trap. ...and Allah ta'ala knows best.
