Here I am in 2024 and this is the first time that I have seen this video. Monty Python ... A team who had no boundaries! Whoever it may be : the Royal Family or Jesus Christ . Did the guy in the white ballet frock really say in front of the then Prince of Wales : something about him being 60 and his mother won't leave the stage? Oh, I say... If I was a judge on BGT that would have been more than just 4 yeses! Gold.

Plus, when Spike Milligan (during a tribute to Spike) called Charles (who had sent a tribute letter) a "Groveling Little B*stard". Charles reportedly fell out of his chair laughing. Next day Spike sent a telegram to Charles saying "I suppose a Knighthood is out of the question?" Charles responded "Keep Groveling" (Spike later got an honorary KBE since he was an Irish citizen)

Only the British could come up with how to finish a show like this: Eric Idle, Swan Lake Ballerinas, A group of guys in Hawaiian shirts and boas playing instruments, Chorus Line Girls, Men’s chorus, Marching band, A woman dressed up as a Valkyrie, Royal British Guards, on top of Everyone who already performed come out for a final bow and sing along. This shouldn’t work together at all, but it all comes together brilliantly!
