From my observation the kids aren't attached to their dad very much so listen to them very carefully. They prefer for their dad to go alone, dad spend quality time with the kids when off work. Teach kids change can be good too not all change is bad and if dad will make more money that's good for the family too. Teach the kids not to be satisfied with the status quo do more activities that involves change.
