There were some who thought they wouldn't be able to do this song live when the album first came out ... they had it on the set list for the UK and Europe tour at the start of 2020 and they blew off whatever they'd left of the roof in every venue they played when they got to this one. I have 'borrowed' this information (again) - "They talked about 'BxMxC' in a recent interview. SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that. (Typical J-Pop recording has the session singer record demo vocals once the arrangement, lyrics and melody are finished. Then the group uses that demo as a guide to do their recording. BABYMETAL doesn’t record in the J-pop style, they do it like a rockband.) SU-METAL: But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget! MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall? SU-METAL: Uh…what was it… KOBAMETAL (who happened to be there): Flow? SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind."

Of course it would be better live, even with people doubting she could even do it live. How you can even hear the high pitched bit in her voice live is staggering. She is so amazing. Never doubt queen Su.

Great reaction. Proving once again Babymetal live is best Babymetal. Babymetal hasn't made on tv a lot over the years, but then again most metal band haven't been on tv a lot either. IMO it's because they're on tour most of the time. That's their bread and butter. As much as this is a rap song Babymetal drops the heavy on us as well. The whole thing is pure fire. The interview at the start was cool too. You get to see a little bit of when Su gets talking, she starts going really fast. In contrast Moa is seems so calm almost serine. Which almost her opposite from when she's on stage. A ball of energy feeding the crowds. Honestly, how cool would it have been to be in that TV audience for that show?
