My boys have started a shmirat halashon program on the bus ride back home for אחינו בני ישראל. Calling it Shmiras Ha Bus on. Because they have to do something but they're just kids. And they go out of their way to be more loving and kind. I have sisters in Israel and my nieces and nephews are either serving or waiting to be called. May they come back whole to you and give you your heart back. I know they unintentionally took it with them. Sending you a deep well of love!

I was born Jewish. Went to Hebrew school, and had my bar mitzvah, but don't consider myself religious. I typically identify more with the ethnicity than the religion of Judaism. However, I have tremendous respect for your family. Being Jewish isn't easy and I hope your transition is everything you wished and prayed for it to be (and more). Lots of davening, holidays, but most importantly values and respect. The main thing my Judaism has taught me is what I stand for. And we stand against hate. Love will prevail. It always does. And so do the Jewish people.

The way I see it we're already part of Kol Israel, like marriage, conversion is just a public ceremony of what already has taken place in our hearts, mind and soul. Like graduation, you already finished all your classes, graduation is just a ceremony displaying what has already taken place. I'm so grateful to get an email from my family in Israel. Everyone is safe and ok. They have been evacuated from Southern and Northern Israel. It's hard to be separated from my family by thousands of miles during such a difficult time. My heart is with my family right now. I have been wearing my Hebrew name necklace every day. and as a jew i hope you can see the pain of your people. which doesn’t cancel out the pain of gazans. i love being jewish because of emphasis of social justice and caring of others but you cannot do that if you are aren’t. i truly feel for those who feel like they can’t be accepted if they don’t stand up for their people and where we are form. . you as a jew are worthy and deserving of being protected and listened too and to have the right to live in the land you’re from. but that doesn’t mean that innocents of others deserve to die. protest against bibi and protest against hamas. hold israel accountable table and hold hamas/egypt/ surrounding arab countries responsible. look into their policies in regards to palestinians and advocate against it like i do. additionally learn about your people and the experience in and out of the US. do you know that jews were brought to europe as slaves to build the colosseum? notice what comes first and what is left out (by many non jews ) in this quote. “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?”

yea I don't normally cry, but this hit hard.. I haven't felt so emotional in years. like I'm a grown man.. I couldn't hold myself together in the kitchen ... balling my eyes... then the same night I had a dream I was brutally murdered. woke up screaming in a panic. This is like reliving 9/11.... sometimes I wanna get mad at Hashemm. like was this your will GD.. a few weeks ago we just spent hours banging out chest for our sins, and so that we would get written in the book of life...then this shit happens...My prayers are def more meaningfu recently .. I'm normally not so focused on prayer.. now I'm praying with. a lot of Kavana...

I can’t stop crying. When I hear how the world completely believes that we just showed up one day to the land of Israel and decided it was ours - completely negating the fact that we actually had a country there and that we have consistently lived in our land for thousands of years. People screaming in the college I went to that from the river to the sea… - do they know they are essentially telling us we have no right whatsoever to our own homeland?? Where our holy sites are??? Where another people put their holy places on top of our ancient Temple Mount?? All we want is peace. All we want is to live our lives in peace. No matter what we do they want to annihilate us. How can we make a real peaceful resolution with people who want all of us dead? Your support and love for yoddishkeit gives me so much chizuk!! Thank you!!
