Hi guys, we've gotten loads of comments asking about budget calculations. (Oops!) Here are our costs for episode one (per person, out of 1000 USD) Accommodation: 30 USD Food: 9 USD Activities: 15 USD Visa Extensions: 38 USD (keep in mind that this number varies depending on your nationality but just to make things easier for us and calculating we've just added up all our extension fees and divided by 3) Budget Spent: 92 USD Budget Remaining: 908 USD

Flight prices not included, plus it seems like they might have gotten a super cheap flight as this is they got a sponsorship from sri lanka airlines, but paddy is coming from thailand which is pretty cheap flight, but from Columbia is probably significantly more. I suggest doing lots of research before buying flight tickets, you can find some really good deals

Stayed at the same hostel in Mt.Lavinia and went to the same Keel's shop 😅 So fun seeing many of the places I visited and I totally agree about Colombo as a captial city. It's one of the very, very few capital cities I've actally enjoyed spending time in ❤

Chathura Ekanayaka we only ate where the locals did or had home cooked food so some of the food was SPICY!!! You go to so much effort for your meals with all the different curries, pumpkin curry was my favourite x

Chathura Ekanayaka yes we tried dried fish. Colombo, Kandy, Ella then along the south coast. But I definitely want to come back to explore the north and east.

EPIC! You really can do Sri Lanka on a tiny budget, Sri lanka has been one of our fav claims to budget fame. We took out £100 each when we arrived and traveled for 10 days! - not sure i would do it that cheap again because the long haul buses were hellish and some of the places we slept were reeeeally bad, but it was an adventure and we saw and experienced a lot of what we had hoped for!

You guys are amazing. Definitely my favorite traveling channel. You guys make such great trio love all the chemistry between you guys and loving that you decide to travel to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka was my number 1 travel pick for the up coming year and I was very concern about the safety of travel since the past tragedy events. Either way I was going go cause momma didn’t raise no quitter lol but this series will definitely ease my mind.
