I am a huge Delain fan, I love Charlotte. Yes, Charlotte was, but now is happy following her own path. What people need to realize is this is a career like everyone has, opportunities come you must follow. Diana is doing an amazing beautiful job filling a demanding position. Knowing she would be judged. Look at what happened to Nightwish after tarja. They had Annette. Who was instantly bullied, she did some great songs, then they blossomed to Floor. Diana is doing amazing, I'd love to hear her do Pristine. On the we are the others...Where's the blood? But over all beautiful job Diana keep making it your own, cause it is now your show.)0(

I feel like this shows exactly why you are such a perfect fit for delain, you are similar to Charlotte but at the same time bring your own style to these songs and I love it. I don't think that recording old songs is a bad idea like some comments here because you are now a part of delain and what is better than having a good version of a great song? Have two of them!

To me, Diana is growing into this role really well. Has done a great job with the new material and now mastering the back catalog. You can hear the quality of her voice and how well she controls it. Some of these songs are never going to be easy to master because Charlotte brought her originality to them, but what I hear is a really good vocal ability mastering these songs, but making them her own too. It's not just a copy, it's bringing her own personality to them. Hearing Diana do the end vocal for not enough (my fav Delain track);just shows how well she is getting the older music mastered so good for Delain and Diana ❤❤

I discovered Delain with Electricity a few months ago while playing a game and I immediatly loved it. After this time, I discovered more and more of the amazing songs that Charlotte sang. Yes, Not Enough and Frozen are my actual favorite Delain songs. But one day, I heard Moth to a Flame. I knew the singer was different because of the different tone of voice (and the album cover lol xD). And you know what? I was hyped in a second when the first drop came. I heard it again and again with the other songs. Today, Delain is my major source of inspiration for my heroic fantasy book. Every time I hear these songs, I have a clear scene of my story in my mind. Whatever if the singer changes, the life is like that, you have to get your opportunity to go step forward in your life. Yes, Charlotte was a brilliant singer (and she was a redhaired girl, that's a bonus point to me xD) and each song she sang was beautiful. But you know what ? I have to say that Diana will be able to do the same thing in her way. How can I be so sure about that? I mean.. Hey, she already did it with her first album. I think it's quite sufficient to prove it, isn't it? Message to Diana(if you read it lol) : keep on your way. I don't know you, you don't know me. But your voice is just amazing that you captivate me and hype me each time I hear you singing. So, long life to you in Delain band and don't listen the people who are spitting you out just because you're not the original one. Message to Delain entire band : hey guys, you're just fantastic. I hope you will keep on like this for a long time ! When I saw you were from Netherlands I was like "erm.. okay? Quite interesting, I never saw a Netherland metal band before, that's cool!" You rock guys, you're my actual 3rd favorite band. This album is how i discovered Delain, came out the year i graduated highschool. Diana nails these songs, especially Where Is The Blood, which featured the great Burton C. Bell.

I hold Charlotte incredibly high,and i always thought her voice was perfect for Delains sound. Of course as a simple man,i also found her absolutely gorgeous. We Are The Others is one of those songs i hold high. I like the message of the song,i often feel like "one of the others". When i heard about Diana Leah coming in,i chosed not to be like many focusing on the negativity of Charlotte being no more. And rather focus on hoping that Diana Leah would sound somewhat like Charlotte. As a longtime Nightwish supporter,i have experienced firsthand the drama,noise and toxicity of having lead vocalists come and go. And tons of other bands has gone through the same thing. It made me a better person i think,as i used to feel a certain way over losing a lead vocalist for favourite bands of mine. Diana Leah in,not only met my inner hopes and expectations,shes such more then that. When i heard her,my mind was in total shock like: "She sounds EXACTLY like Charlotte!" Especially in the choruses and harmonica parts on many songs,theyr voices are soo much alike its mindblowing to me. And then she looks like a IRL Pocahontas on top of that,great stage presence,microphone technique (not alot of people pay enough attention to things like that,when a vocalist has mastered how close or far away they need to be to the mic,to sound just right) Diana Leah in as a Delain member has been nothing but a true blessing!🙏💞 I also love the 2 new guys in,wich can provide both backing vocals as well as growl parts,and ofc the guitar plays. Delain got abit of a suckerpunch when the other ones packed theyr bags and left,but my oh my how Delain came back better and upgraded. Alot more potential lays in the "new" Delain,pretty much like how Nightwish also had the same upgrade in sound with Floor Jansen and Troy Donockley in permanently. PS: I loved hearing your vocals on the older Delain hits,Diana!It never stops amazing me how many parts sounds exactly like Charlotte. I guess you just naturally sound alot alike when singing. Thank you for joining Delain,Diana! The best thing that could have happened to the band after the departure of past members!

I've said this over and over.. I will say it again. I have been a Delain fan since 2008. I've seen them live the few times they came to the US specifically LA. When it was announced that Charlotte and the others had left the band, and Martjn was continuing Delain.. in all honestly I was not worried. Granted was sad that a chapter was ending but excited for what was to come. Maybe the reason for that is because I actually love their demo which had another singer by the name of Anne Invernizzi. Martjn knows what he's doing, this is his band. Diana is a great addition and will continue on with the legacy of Delain. Here's to new music from Delain and new music from Charlotte! Can't wait to see you all this September!

As a new Delain fan (discovered through Dark Waters) all I can say is everything I have heard has been absolutley incredible. Listening back through the older albums, in my personal opinion Charlotte and Diana have very similar voices, and I think that made Diana a PERFECT successor for this band and this little medley here just proves that even more. So incredibly thankful I found this band, you guys kick some major ass, and Diana, all I can say is I believe you are going to go down as a Symphonic Metal Legend with that voice💖🤘🤘

Пытается петь в том же стиле, в той же манере, чтоб звучало как изначально было задумано (возможно не комфортно ей, не позволяют петь по своему, но на новых песнях компенсирует это). Как по мне - не хватает только харизмы которой обладала Шарлотта и еще бы энергии побольше.

Diana is the absolute PERFECT addition to Delain. I never thought they would find a suitable vocalist for the Delain sound but boy oh boy, was I ever wrong! (thankfully!) Not Enough is right in Diana's vocal wheelhouse with that incredible aria at the end . WOW! When you think about it Delain really has a fantastic catalog of high quality songs over a decade plus . One great song after another. Great, great band that I wish more people knew about.

Only discovered Delain in 2019 but they quickly became one of my all time faves. I was actually really lucky that they came to my hometown and i got to see em live literally a month before covid hit in 2020. When they broke up I was truly sad, and thought the future of the band was bleak. Boy am i glad to be wrong ! Dianna has an amazing voice, instantly in love when i heard the singles. I didn't realise the album was out but will definitely seek it out. Can't wait to see Diana live now!
