personally i never liked the ACC but i always hated the SEC on account of the gators... but if i'd had my druthers, we'd have stayed independent. that said, college football was changing and i don't think we could have stayed independent like ND and remained contenders

I am very confident in saying that Bobby himself would say it was a team effort. Throughout his career he always gave credit to his players and staff. Mickey Andrews, Chuck amato, Brad Scott, Mark Richt, and many others certainly contributed in helping Florida State to become a national, iconic brand. I do understand your feeling though Bobby was certainly the ringleader. His coaching acumen and vibrant personality made him a media darling for a long time. So I agree to an extent he is responsible for putting Florida State on the map but, not solely. 😉🙂 Go Noles!

It was going on long before that. Trust me. Personally I think the media bias against Florida State started in 1991-92 when Florida State chose to enter the ACC And then absolutely dominated the conference.

​@@saynotolagoona😂 That's funny but if there is one thing I have learned on KZfaq and that is grammar and spelling is not really a big issue. I used to correct people all the time and realized it was a futile effort. Plus lots of people use talk to text and KZfaq's translation algorithm or services whatever it's called absolutely sucks. Also a lot of people simply don't proofread. I am guilty of that at times myself.
