Going to Highschool soon.... this makes me look back on all those subtle but sweet times from Elementary and Middle School, like running off and hiding in the bathrooms during pep rally’s, playing grounders every recess, going to the supposedly haunted bathroom in elementary, teasing our teachers, sleepovers, staying up till 5 am cackling with your late night buddy while everyone else is sleeping, swimming at the local pool.... ow my nostalgia hurts meeeeeeee Edit: and then the summers? I've been listening to a crap ton of old songs slowed with reverb added to them. And they've all been songs that give me nostalgia. I think that's because I'm graduating from middle school and going into a new chapter in my life. It's scary, but I'm glad that everything has happened and I'm glad I was able to spend it in a unique way. I hope to see what comes next in all of this

I think the happiest times I can think of when I was younger was around 2011-2012. The music was upbeat, summer-like, happy, carefree. Every song was amazingly positive sounding, even if the lyrics didn’t match up to the emotional beat. Music got seriously depressing in the last 7 years. Gotta love these Gen Z classics

I doubt anyone will see this or care. But fuck it. As soon as i hot play I felt a heaviness in my chest. Like the music moved me like water through my ribs and lungs. I stopped my painting and closed my eyes to just feel the music when the images of my past came back to me. From the innocence of childhood, to the amazing clarity of feeling "grown up" at 15. It was so much, and went from calmly doing art to suddenely sobbing on my bed. The difference of who I was then to now will never cease to amaze me. All the trials I have gone through that killed the hope that I used to have. The people I have lost and pushed away from me. The amazing new opportunities of growing up squashed out by things that were beyond my control. We all think there's no tommorrow, no next week, no next year. We all take our ideals and thoughts for granted, or at least I did/do.

In 11th grade I told myself that after this very stressful year my next year would be the best year of my life so I can finally get closure and move with a new life in college. Well Covid hit and I STILL refuse to believe I graduated, just like that. I spent that entire year of my life I was aspiring for at home doing nothing.

this song reminds me of my childhood and dad and makes me cry realizing how much he manipulated me and still does and has such high expectations and much more he was an abusive to my mother and it hurts just now learning the truth maybe a yearish ago i just wish sometimes i was still blind with the kid eye and saw what i did back then

2019 was actually good and so bad for me here is my story I was in a specialized middle school but i always fail always at the bottom of the ranking never went up once. I get anxiety when there is a test. There is even a one time i did not answer even one number because i was crying and i did know what to do i just told everyone i fell asleep. But it was also the best how? I became a fan of a band called tooot even tho they split up they made me feel i have a bestfriend and they made me feel loved going home i would open my laptop and binge watch their videos that band was my only bestfriend also i realized that time good grades wont make me feel happy so i decided i should do something different so i workout, get rid of my acne stress, abd made some friends GOSH after school was MY LIFE! Going to malls, going to a thrift shop even at grocery stores lmao But.. 2020 sighs my friends became diffrrent they started talking bad behind me and they started hanging out without me and they made a gc wirhout me and saying things about me they it was a painful PUNCH it made me cry a Lot so i cut them off and left that shitty school i had lots of plan but ahah quarantine sighsss did you like my story ❤❤
