I've never really put words to it, but I realized I am like Eric in not caring much for seeing animals in tanks or even zoos. I'm glad I'm not the only one. But wow, this thing was amazing! I would've stayed for hours. (And then run right up because I'd be claustrophobic & terrified of being under water.)

Hey you guys, love your videos for the very unique content. The guy climbing around on the rocky cliff face may have been looking for saplings to transplant as bonsai. The environment creates unusual shapes as the plant grows.

The "biwa" fruit is a Loquat. It's in the Rosacea family, so a distant cousin of the apple.

That guy climbing with the back pack is probably collecting bonzai trees.. my late husband used to do the same. Glad you enjoyed seeing some of our many tropical fish.. . There are many place's to snorkel too with coral 🐠

Because I have a similar view to Eric's about aquaria and zoos, I have avoided this video for a long time. But I am glad to see the underwater natural viewing station. Thanks, guys, for that clip and all the other cool stuff on Shikoku.

Awesome video. I like the nature stuff so much better than city stuff. That beach with the surfers was choice. Stalagmites are shaped like an M (they come up from the floor), and stalagtites are shaped like a T (they hang from the ceiling).

Here in Australia the biwa fruit is called a loquat and i love them! Not so easy to find but i remember having a tree in our garden when i was growing up and i would race to it every day to see if there were any ripe fruits that the cockatoos hadn't beat me to eating.

I remember being in one of those tower aquariums in south of Chiba once. Was more plain looking I think. But the rest of the experience looked exactly the same.

Okay so uh... being blind and all I totally didn't see the old guy on the cliff xD Which is good because if I had his reasons for being there would have bothered me. And holy crap Eric, that tree situation was terrifying, why you gotta tempt fate like that? lol. So dang close to that 50k!! Hmm with the picture on that tea carton I wonder if they were going for more of a “rare cheese” kinda taste which is a type of no bake cheesecake 🤔 That aquarium is beyond incredible I could see that structure also being good for the fish kinda like shipwrecks are good it gives them a place to live and food to grow on it. Jeez Eric you really like to live on the edge literally!

stalactite has a "c" in it, from the ceiling. Stalagmite has a "g" in it, comes from the ground. Easier on the brain.

Things like that turtle would just not exist here in america. We can't even have a wishing fountain without crazy/homeless people diving in when they need booze money.
