Your hair is beautiful!! January made 1 year since I’ve had my sisterlocs. I do my own retie as well. When I first started it took me 4 days, then 2 days, and now 8 hours. So glad you’re back with us!!! ❤❤

I've been doing my on reties and my daughters reties for two months now. Its ALOT but worth saving the money and getting know your sister locks. I actually watched your retie video you mentioned, which inspired me to go for it.

Yes get an undercut! I started my Sisterlocks with one and I’m so happy retires are just under two hours. We’ll see how long it’ll be when I start doing them myself. 😭

So glad to see you back!! I’ve been following your Sisterlocs journey since the beginning. I’m 40 months Sisterloc’d and now without a loctician. You have motivated me into trying to self Retie my locs! 9 wks since my last Retie I attempted to Retie started in the back and knotted 2 locs and combined 2 locs 😩. I completed 15 locs and was discouraged to keep going. After watching your video I have to be more patient and persistent to complete my whole head 300+ locs. I will check out your Retie instructions video for guidance. Your Sisterlocs are gorgeous! Thanks so much.

Welcome back! Loving the update! Your hair looks great, and congrats on the self-reties! I haven’t tried them, but I heard that the "hook" retie tools that are similar to the Sisterlock tool do not work well for self-reties.

Use lemon juice and sunlight for 15 minutes a day to lighten ends naturally. Don't dye your hair unless you use henna or hair paint wax❤.

Welcome back! I’ve been following your journey. Your length is lovely! On the retie tools: I’ve been using the metal locsanity tool that looks like what my consultant used. There izz a learning curve but I love skipping the thread the needle part of the retie. My last retie took me a long while because it was my first time using the tool and I had a whopping eight weeks of regrowth. 😮 I think going forward it’s going to be much faster. I also find this tool to make fewer threats of joining locs. I don’t even find it as crucial to clip the other locks away.
