Agreed, everyone calling it mid just doesn't remember the later parts. I'm surprised they didn't like the burrito episode more, though.

I actually prefer the way they were in season 1 and 2 -- some audiences like slice of life stuff, and then in the later ones the crazy stuff started to feel like Regular Show when something non-magical but still off the wall happens. IMO they spent too much time on the Baby Bears episodes because while a few of them were good it started to get gratuitous The endings of the baby bears are usually, something happens that keeps them from getting a home, but then the later ones they move on from somewhere they could have stayed just because the plot calls for them to move on. Then they had 2 baby bear episodes in a row sometimes and it was like, I kind of want to see what the adult bears are up to. I want to see them filling the holes and needs they wanted from childhood, or coming to terms with not getting those things In the movie when Grizz is having nightmares because he has to take care of Panda and Ice Bear and feels like he can't do it, I wanted to see more stuff like that (instead of a ninja turtles parody)

It's called empathy The burrito reminded him of the last (and practically only) time he felt safety coming from a figure of authority.

I mean, it's because is an earnestly sad scene. But people often confuse the lack of cynicism as cringe or secretly deceiving. After all, the show is about the bears wanting to fit into a society that alienates them and along the way find people who care for them for who they are.
