what ms r the anims in this game, can u react and potentially differ? is there a startup window on dodge/parry? and if so how many ms, just thinking about playing this game

Some things in this game must be predicted while others can be reacted. Dodge and parry don’t work instantly, you can be caught on startup

Is matari considered a support character? Im playing mostly zippy and kurumi with my team, we are all fairly new and cannot really use wuchen properly yet. but i was looking for some more variety and other characters for like more casual matches or just when we are messing around.

Yeah, she stays in the back to avoid getting silenced by viper since she’s mostly played as a counter to viper. This makes her a position 3 character in most if not all comps. I highly recommend to spend some time on every character in the game (or at least most of them) since that can teach you what your enemies are thinking, even if you don’t want to play all characters long term

@@Penemue cool! thanks for the detailed reply. i will definitley do that and try out as many as i can. i guess early on the comp doesnt matter too much.

@@MrDoit187 yeah if you are a new player the comp doesn't really matter, it's only later when you fight strong opponents that you can get punished for running a comp that has certain weaknesses or taking a fight that your comp should lose by design

Not anytime soon, bdo PvE gets stale and PvP just disappoints

@@doctorcdub2413 this doesn't look like something i'd enjoy. equalized or capped gear in an MMO defeats the purpose of an MMO. it's timegated and unavailable at night when i'm done with my work and ready to play games.
