It's like they wanted to be able to say they made the first LGBT magical girl series when Sailor Moon already has that title. Literally every single part of the LGBT scene is in that series and it came out in the 90's this shit isn't new so the fact that they're trying so hard to be like "Oh we're the first series with openly gay characters that're all women" is the biggest reach I've ever seen.

People have pointed out that Sage is a very toxic and abusive person who weaponizes her tears and nerd aesthetic to avoid any consequences for her actions. Can't believe the writers didn't catch that though.

funny how I started watching spilling the milk because you've reacted to high guardian spice. High Guardian Spice seems like it had a short time to get out, and instead of spending that time on the animation, and voice actors, they lounged around until the last minute and turned it in the next day.😂

It's so weird that this show borrows elements of Japanese anime, and yet it has the soul and the energy of the most cookie cutter modern cartoon in recent memory. I mean, you just have to look at the art style and animation. They use a sort of chibi-like magic girl art but the animation is stilted and severely lacking in personality (ironic for a show all about quirky fantasy characters). It doesn't even require some Ghibli level shit. Maybe, I don't know, give them more than one face template? Be more bouncy and expressive with their movement instead of this choppy stiltedness? Like, anime usually has their cutesy girl characters acting and moving, you know, cute. It ain't just there for the hell of it, it's also a part of their personality. Everyone moves and acts like the exact same figure.
