We Bought a 13 Amp Rotary Hammer and Rebar Demon Bits on Amazon...Did they work?

Our Dewalt hammer drill was too small to get through the heavy rock and rebar in our slab, so we had to order something bigger. Our choice was the Eneacro 13 Amp rotary hammer for SDS-Plus bits and the Diablo Rebar Demon bits. This video shows them in use, and we share our opinion on the products.

Picked up the same hammer drill for a home basement framing job. It absolutely puts holes into concrete like butter. Glad your experience was same as mine. 150 holes drilled and counting. Great value

the rubber donut included is designed to place at the base of the drill bit to hold dust from entering the tool when drilling upwards. the front knob is to apply spin on drill bits or not when chipping. the rear knob is to control hammering. test it.

After spending the morning searching for a deal on used name brand powerful rotary hammer drills , I came upon this one. Was skeptical as hell when I saw the price considering the cheapest used Dewalt I could find was $250. After watching this though, I’m convinced. Just ordered it, can’t wait for it to arrive and start busting up all my tile floors. Thx for the honest video!

Bought a similar Chinese drill and used a cross tip drill (4 point) to drill basalt rocks prior to splitting. Initially tried drilling starting from 3/16" bit all the way up to the final hole size of 5/8" on a workshop hammer drill (Dewalt XR battery model). Changed the chuck twice on that drill. Time consuming and went through countless bits. The Chinese model which looks exactly like yours chewed through the rock like going thro butter with one 5/8 bit. Cheaper and faster. I was reluctant to buy this drill because of quality concerns but since I will use it infrequently I took shot and spent the $110. Used Milwaukee bits and they worked well. Even hooked it up to a Champion generator like you did. Very happy with the results. These are cases where you have to have the right tool for the job. Big mistake I made was pushing down on the hammer rather than use your hands to guide it only. Thanks for the review as most such videos show only the best case scenario; drilling thro concrete or soft rock.

Just ordered this drill for reinforcing my outdoor shed. My light duty hammer felt like i hit rebar even though there isn't any in my shed slab. I was getting nervous about my purchase immediately after pulling the trigger on this but watching this video makes me feel like it might get the job done. Great no BS video. Thanks!

I have this rotary drill, & it goes thru congrete like hot knife thru butter. When using SDS-plus drill bits, the chuck locks the drill bits so it continues drilling. Much better than the hammer drill from Ryobi & Rigid. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.

For bits,blades, drivers, any cutting gear, though a bit more expensive, Diablo worth every penny in getting you to the next operation. I hear people bitch about 65$ for a single drill bit, until they smoke 2 of their 35$ cheapies and THEN have to buy the Diablo anyway. EDIT: My cheap demolition hammer autolubes, so yes thats how it works.

Hey, at 6:59 I actually thought the same thing, but apparently the lube is used on the end of the bit that goes into the machine, it prevents it from overheating too much and prematurely cracking during a project.

From my experience with other rotary hammers, those 2 functional switches are not doing the same. The round one on a side is switching Drill+Hammer, Hammer (but not fixed, so can be rotated by hand) and fixed Hammer. Another one has 2 positions - Impact and No Impact. So you can have different functions by using 2 switches. Lets say if you need just drilling, then turn off impact and switch to Drill+Hammer. Just curious if my assumption is correct, or this brand has different purpose of those switches.

A word of cuation for these chinese rotary hammers on amazon. Some of these (not this one) do not have a safety clutch which puts you at a huge risk of hurting your wrist. Please get one which has a safety clutch.
@errldabbins
@errldabbins Жыл бұрын
I've discovered a bit of a hack for this...if you're drilling on the ground you can put your foot down next to the drill so your leg stops the drill from spinning. Your leg is able to keep the drill stable much better than your arms and wrist alone. This works perfectly for cordless hammer drill applications but I haven't tried it with the really powerful drills. This method plus safety clutch would be ideal.

I see this common mistake. As a general contractor myself.. People get sold That hammer drills can go through five inch bear concrete.. If anything you're gonna wear and tear the motor and kill it😅 Get a real rotary hammer drill.. And yes they make them with batteries..😅😅😊😅😅😢

That’s great if you are a contractor and use it all the time, definitely worth the money for high end quality. However IMHO, for the average Joe who will use it once in a while the cheaper one is a better more affordable option.
