It definitely was! We're so thankful to have found this van when we did. After renting it, we were so sad that we had to give it back. We can't believe it's now our van and we're so excited about the places we'll go and the people we'll meet! Thanks for watching! 😊

Just saying, that my Puerto Rican friends are staying alive! And I love all of my friends loving who and what you two are! Love the van life and all the possibilities of new adventures! Make yourselves some memories guys, cause when you get old, that's all you got. My elderly cousin said this to me when I was in my 20's and for some reason it stuck with me throughout life. Can't wait to see more of yours in the coming posts. ❤️😁

You absolutely have to do Canada. Start on the East coast in late May and head west...ending on Vancouver Island and the surfing beaches near Ucluelet and Tofino. This gives you decent weather the entire trip. Looking forward to following all of your journeys. Congratulations on The Saturday Van.

We would really love to travel through Canada in the van. We've been to the east coast of Canada and it was so beautiful! I wish we had been filming back then but we're definitely planning on it for the future. Thanks so much for the great suggestions and thanks for joining us!

That's amazing Kerry! We had the dream of having some kind of "adventure-mobile" for a while and had to try on a bunch of different kinds of styles to see what we liked. It's well worth the research renting different ones to see what you like. We're so happy to have you here! 💓

Just saw your first video of climbing to Alum Cave in the smokies. We have been going to NC and TN for the past 30 years and live in Tampa Fl. We have a house in NC that we been staying at for the past 15 years on vacation and you guys go to many places we have been. Really neat you guys got a van will open up a much larger range of options for you guys and cannot wait to see more videos. You ever been to Lake Lure, NC?

That's awesome that you guys are able to do the snow bird lifestyle and travel between Tampa and North Carolina! You have the best of both worlds with tropical and mountains. We're the same loving the palm trees but we also like getting away to the mountains for some hiking. No we haven't been to Lake Lure, NC but we'll have to look into it! From an image search it looks amazing. We're so excited about the van! It'll definitely help us do even more of what we love to do. Thanks so much for watching!

@@PSAdventures From your other videos I think you would enjoy Lake Lure. Chimney Rock State Park overlooks Lake Lure and it has one of the highest waterfalls in the east you can hike to both top and bottom of falls. Another neat thing to camp at is Curtis Creek in Old Fort it is kind of primitive camping along a gorgeous river. There are hikes back to a couple of waterfalls too. I see people camping all the time when we drive back there it is only a few miles from our house so we don't camp out. Also Linville Gorge is another really cool area with Linville Falls and the gorge is so cool. Just thought I would give you some ideas of places I seen think you would like. If I can ever be any help let me know. If we are up there when you are up you are always welcome to stop by and shower or recharge batteries, fill up water whatever.

Van are ridiculous in price right now. I keep seeing them 30k for a van with 179k miles. What county allows tiny homes? We would love a tiny home lol. Congrats on the new van!

I know right?! Omg when we were researching it, there were so many that we shook our heads at the crazy prices for unfinished vans with high mileage. If you're looking for a place to have a tiny house, it seems like you have to look in RV Travel parks. They have hookups and some parks specifically want to foster a community of tiny houses. We've seen some great ones in Volusia County near New Smyrna Beach. Always great to hear from you Florida and Beyond!

Thanks so much Freeman! Happy Saturday to you too! The advice we'd suggest after the fact would be to do a lot of research on campervan builds so you know what you're looking at, take a lot of video and pictures asking the current owner questions about what's behind the walls in case you need to repair anything, and also whether or not to register your van as a cargo van or an RV. Getting a mechanic to look it over is super important also to make sure you know what kind of problems you might be buying. So far though it's been a pretty smooth purchase. We're so excited! 😁

We had looked at both of those when we were deciding on what kind of van to buy and finally settled on the Ford Transit. There's lots of great options out there though!

Does anyone know if one can order a passenger van Without extra seats included? Also, I assume a passenger van is already insulated and doesn’t need more when it becomes a camper van?

When we were looking into ordering a van we went right the Ford website and you can customize everything. What we did was start with a cargo van instead of a passenger van unless you want all the windows on the sides. Hope that helps!

It's possible the passenger vans might have some built in insulation but they usually also come with wraparound windows on both sides so you'd lose a lot of insulation from so much window space. You could insulate over the windows like some people do but it might be easier just to start with a blank canvas of a cargo van. Hope that helps!
