I love hearing about the FSA stuff. Living in suburban Chicago, I had no idea of the complexities of farm financing. Don't get me wrong, I love all the equipment you use too, I've downloaded manuals on pivot systems, because you showed me how you use them, and I wanted to know more. Thanks. P.S. I'm so jealous of all the 4-wheeling/snowmobiles/ and dirt bikes.

As a self-employed individual myself, I really enjoy the behind-the-scenes details, including the office work. Most people never see that part of the business, but in reality, that is every bit as important as the "actual" work that takes place, whether it's farming or, in my case, construction. Love it! Keep it up.

With things having been so gloomy over the last year, you and Grant continue to bring sunshine and a huge smile our way. Thank you so much for that. Suggestion: make your office segments more focused on what you do and why. Don't let them get more than about 3 minutes. How about a tour of your house when you get it fully set up?

I'm subbed to a few farming channels in states both East and West of me. Mainly in my own weather zone, and yours is the best for many reasons. I really hope and pray you become an "inspiration" for millions out there, it's deserved. You and your family has impressed this old boomer/buzzard. I enjoy every aspect of 'real' farm life. The good, bad, mundane, equipment, office to field to home life. The snacking cracks me up, the small vac floor cleaning along with some others caused me to keep some extra key-boards on hand due to coffee or tea spills. Some info shown enough to know some negatives/intentional damages being done across the country news fail to report on. Others don't want or need the attention about it, many just don't want to know or hear of such things, too negative or depressing for a uplifting positive videos. Those negatives and destruction has been going on since I was a kid, and worse today it seems. Truth be told, my area failed being the farmland and agricultural center it once was. You know, the ol' "City mouse versus Country mice" issues. All, all, those smaller to mid size farmers I personally knew and worked for time to time are gone, pushed out, or forced to sell out, then here comes the developers, severe and very destructive 'urban sprawl' that is claimed to be good things. Deep subject but it's not good. Diesel trucks, tractor pulls, county fairs, to markets aren't exactly like by many, or farmers being vetted over politics. Colleges, activist, here, want fishing, hunting, raising animals, etc., stopped. Many want limits on home aquarium fish and kinds. Yes, it's that bad. But some towns and media are great at the great facade of making illusions or self promoting many falsehoods. I had to rant a bit and write since you mentioned your pretty painted nails and not afraid to get them dirty. Many years ago to the present in trying to help needed companies to repair shops purchase my small piece of land and so I could move away from urban sprawl, college town rule. etc., was told this more than once. "No selling of your property, we can use zoning law to prevent it too and don't try to appeal it." Quoted now.... when all the minutes of the meetings were turned off: "We in this college town want clean jobs and employment. White collar type jobs suitable for our college's business models, start-ups, the directions we desire to accomplish. No dirty jobs are wanted here. We want clean hands for the children of the future. Want we want for 'sustainable development' is a cleaner future for our children and students." Unquote. That is just a small part of it from memory. I am community wide shunned and hated by most here because I disagree and will not conform or be 'assimilated' by all these characters and clowns. I still garden, cut wood, don't mind and never did mind about getting my hands dirty, bleeding, or calloused. Today it's like a sin to let local kid's hands dirty, play in the dirt or mud. And God forbid trying to hire yard help or get them away from pc gaming and such. Oh well. Yep, sorry for the length and rant but it's pure truth and why you are really an inspiration, a badly needed one, gave this old dude that lost all hope in humanity some hope for future generations and youthful farmers or those interested in it, or, things like 4-H.

I like more of your explaining the details of your work. Especially as you do that cute little laugh and smile that has me always coming back here to watch again and again! I also would like to know more about how you all do the planting, how you can plant rows of males and female corn? Do the seeds for each come separately? And you can dump them into separate bins of your seeding machinery? How does it work? By the way, I used to operate a John Deere 244J front end loader every day at my work. That little machine has a lot of power for it's size! Definitely have to have the differential lock though to get good traction when moving or pulling extra heavy loads.
