Yes a vacuum cleaner. Apparently it does wash but we have never used it.🤪 Septic tanks only , but if used carefully you don't have to get it pumped very often. We rented a place before we bought ,for nearly two years and it never needed to be pumped. Limit the toilet paper and all should be fine. There is room for an oven if you wish to add one. We bought a small portable one. So far it is perfect for us. The issue with ovens here is that they heat up the whole house and it becomes unbearable even with aircon !

@@HereComeTheParkers I know what you mean about heat from an oven. I currently live in Taiwan but couldn’t live without my oven for roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings with a joint. I do find however turning the extraction fan on full does help no end as heat rises. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Recently also watched your buying a train ticket video to bangkok. In Thailand can you not buy train tickets at your 7/11on a self service machine?.

@@user-fn1bh3qr6m My little oven can do roast potatoes but seems the potatoes you get here don't roast too well.🙄 As far as train tickets go I don't think you can buy through 7/11 . Only at the station or on line with an agent. 12go is a good one.

Farangs cannot own the land it will be a 30 year lease with options of signing another 30 year lease.

Condos are probably easier yes. But we have had no trouble so far. 30 year lease will see us out.

It is appox 6 minutes from the beach. And 7/11 two minutes down the road. It is 17 minutes from Hua Hin and about the same to Cha Am. Yes you would need a car or motorbike.

It is about 19 minutes from Hua Hin. And yes there are more houses nearly finished. They will also be building more behind us. Can you drop us an email and we can send you the link.

There is a 7/11 not far. And a couple of local restaurants which we will try out. But apart from that you will need a car or bike to get around. Hua Hin malls about 19 minutes away by car.

My fear is many expats will be caught out bringing funds into Thailand this year not realising they will be required to submit a tax return next year (2025) for funds submitted to Thailand this year (2024). In addition, expats are not being advised that this is a strong possibility.

We can't own land in Thailand. We have taken out a 30 year lease with a Thai friend of ours who is a lawyer.

We bought the house and have leased the land for 30 years. We haven't yet connected the internet but fingers crossed it will be ok .

30 year lease is the only legal way to go.

We would suggest coming here before you retire for a short stay. And contact some real estates and have a good look around each area. There are so many places to rent . We hope to do more rental videos in the future.
