Mr. Goodpliers, Joe and Gordon head to the abandoned farmstead near Caldwell Kansas to load antique trucks and a 1954 Ford car! We'll bring them out of the woods, and back to the Rust Ranch for parts and projects!
See my other videos for a "Will it Run" of the 1974 C10 pickup!

Oh yeah, Joe, he is a dang hard worker. Tim, I'm sure that he is totally thankful for all of his hard work. Joe jumps, digs, chops, saws, climbs under, in and all around to break a vehicle free from whatever binds it to mother earth, that is for sure. Hey Joe! You Are The MAN! 😎🫡👌👍💪😃

I had to look it up and discovered it's different from my tow strap so I just learned something. Thanks. Especially since I have quite a few vehicles stuck in the ground that I'll have to yank out soon.

You can also put an old tire between two chains to get by 'till you can get a good kinetic rope. It will get you the same results at a much cheaper price.

You and Joe and Gordon put a lot of work into recovering these relics, kudos to all! I cannot imagine that the 54 Ford 4 door has enough valuable parts left to justify the labor expended getting it home, but you certainly know these things much better than I do, so I'm assuming it was worth it. Sending good vibes your way to get past whatever you've got going on.

I tell ya Mr. Goodpliers, that Blue C10 is very nice truck, body panels are in great shape considering the year and the work it was for. You shouldn't have any problems getting rid of it, especially since the square body trucks are making a comeback. Excellent buy sir. I also like those bigger dump trucks as well. I personally prefer crewcab trucks, those are hot vehicles too right now. Thanks again for sharing your videos, looking forward to seeing the next one sir.

This has to be your most impressive haul yet IMHO. That '58 is one SWEET roller. The white grain truck is going to make a FINE hauler for you - always loved that front end look with the cat-eye lights. The C10 was just a wonderful find and grab. Whatever you paid, you'll be A-OK on resale. The '54 Ford was just a great save! SO many good parts on that rig, and if I were retired right now, I would be crazy enough to stitch a bunch of tin on the right side - after all, the driver's side is perfect for inverted pattern work - and turn that into a fun rat rod; my phone would have TONS of "before" pictures just to freak people out at the local car rally. That was a fun and enviable 38 minutes of trucking goodness - thanks to the BEST speaking voice on YT!

That C-10 is pretty good. Even with only 76,000 miles on it, you should rebuild the engine. I usually rebuilt my engines at 80,000 in those days. If you waited til 100,000 it was a much more expensive rebuild. I did the work myself. When properly tuned that 350 should start in less than one turn. Restore it and keep it. That's a better truck than anything you can find new and a lot cheaper. I'm restoring my 85 C-10 this summer. Good Luck, Rick
