I'm so SO happy to finally be able to share this with you all and to start the moving/renovation vlogs :) Some of my favourite Instagram and KZfaq content is watching people turn houses into homes and I truly cannot wait for Alex and I to put our personal stamp on this place! I love how real you talk about London life, i.e the air quality. It's such a wonderful city but i think social media really romanticize it without addressing the air quality and what not. Congrats on your home

I would love to see a blog post by you about how to choose a house based on the things you can change vs. the things you can’t. Sometimes I get so put off by the interiors of the house that I don’t like (which can be changed, usually) rather than focusing on finding houses where I like the things that can’t be changed (or can’t be changed as easily) like exteriors, the outdoor area, the windows, the house’s layout, etc.

This is so exciting! I love your vlogs! 😊 Also, if you want to start a family within 6 months to a year, if you're on birth control, I would recommend stopping it soon because it takes on average 4-6 months for your period to return and regulate. It's something that surprised me when we started trying to have a baby.

Aah, I felt so excited for you both watching this video:) Huge Congratulations! I have Pigeon in my bedroom and I worried it might be too dark but it's such a warm, cosy colour I love it. I think that's exactly what we'll be doing!! There's definitely some things like the kitchen that we want do ASAP over the next couple of months before we move in completely (makes life easy in the long run) but I can see each room coming to life with furniture and colour over time as we live in it and get to know the space :) xx

I've definitely felt a little overwhelmed especially with the wedding coming up too and even more so when we both work from home! I think the decision to just focus on the kitchen (so we're not living in a building site at any point) then the wall colours means we can just live in the house and get to know the spaces better to really make it ours :) xx

Yippee so pleased that you have found a new home. The paint consultant wow, what he doesn’t know about paint is not worth knowing. Looking forward to the transition. Giving advice is deadly but I have had so many lovely friends struggle sod it i am going to share. Alex clearly would populate your home now with little ones, but you have to be ready and done everything that you want to do. Sadly as we get older so do our eggs and the ability to have babies. Freeze your eggs. This extends your ability to have more than one and not be rushed. Why do people not talk about this and share the reality x

Also, want to touch on your desire for privacy: that's really important, and I hope people don't post pictures of you in your neighbourhood or say where your neighbourhood is. Yeah I just felt that I had to in this day and age! I know we all choose to share so much and I'm very very lucky that we are all part of this lovely supportive corner of the internet, but with being broken into before I just needed to vocalise how important it is to me that just because we're sharing the rooms in the house and the renovation - where we have chosen to live is private! Congratulations both of you, I bought my property 2 years ago I had bought a flat years ago but then was renting for about 10 years and felt I would never get to that point of buying again. Just finished our bathroom re-model and now Kitchen in 4 weeks, Im similar like things to happen quickly but thoroughly and love choosing colours and interiors xx

My boyfriend and I also have a house together, and honestly I am SO excited to see what you guys end up doing to your home. Also, would love to see Victoria's future office/closet???! Alex will now have a GIANT space to put Hue lights all over. Our power went out last night, and just as a fair warning, if that happens your entire house will come back on if you use all Hue lights!

Funny thing to do asking people to be nice about your renovations as your taste will be different to their taste, but on at least 3 occasions make harsh comments about the existing interior design. Pot/kettle

I love that you're working with a designer!! It's fun to see someone else so passionate about color :) Hearing Alex talk about busy contractors, and not realizing, don't worry that's very common... As I work in an interior design studio--BUSY DOESN'T COVER IT, haha! Sometimes projects take over a year if the contractor has got issues! Also I hope you're not planning on living there until most of the renovation is finished! Living with renovation is a sure way to wake up on the wrong side of the bed.... Definitely take "before and after" pictures, you will be so proud of yourselves when it's finished!! Get it touch by the way if you want pointers! Either way, I'm so excited for you two and your future together.... a wholehearted congratulations!! I will live vicariously through you two until my partner and I can afford a home (we're getting married next month, our own home is a long long way away)! So happy for you two!
