I play this ball and absolutely love it, has the feel and performance of a premium ball with the cost of a budget one, ideal for someone like me who is off 16, helps hold the green with my irons and wedges and doesnt hurt that much when 1 goes missing, also helped me to shoot 85 yesterday on a par 72 course.

Could watch you two all day, not only fun to watch and listen but you two play such a great game!

Just picked up 2 dozen of these and have 2 rounds in, one in FL and one at my home course here in IL. Have to say in the varying weather conditions, this ball performed very well for me and for the price I am impressed! Durability seems to be good so far and encouraged to see how these perform over time compared to the Z-Stars I’ve been playing prior. Loving this series. For Christmas my kids have traditionally given me a dozen ProV1 balls this year they gave me 4 dozen Kirklands and taped $4 to it. Used them yesterday and was very impressed didn’t really notice any difference in feel or performance. I had always heard that the durability of the Kirkland ball was poor but played 18 holes with it and not scuffed in any place.

I play with these and have been seeing them more and more on the course lately!! They’re popular!!

Archerfield is an unreal place, slightly biased as my dad is the Course manager there!!

Been playing these for two months and really like them. Excellent off the driver and irons, great greenside spin and control. Not quite as durable as my Srixon Z-Stars, but at this price I’m in love.

Brought some couple weeks ago. Played the first ball for 54 holes before I finally lost it. Performance and feel was as good as ProV and no noticeable ware issues

The V2's were actually available last season here in Canada. It's all I play as I am a higher handicap and honestly playing a premium expensive ball just makes me worse because all I do is worry about losing them. Here in Canada they are $30 for 24 balls. One thing I've noticed between the original to this one is that the V2 is much more durable. Durability isn't usually a big thing for me because I lose a ball well before it's worn out bit this past winter I played alot of simulator golf and used these V2 everytime.

Love the on course tests. These balls can look as good as any inside, but if they can hold up in wind and bunkers, that's the keeper. Great video

I been playing the V1 for years and now I am playing V2. V2 seems to be a little more durable, but everything else seems to be about the same as V1. There are only two differences that I notice between the Kirkland balls and other premium balls. They are a few yards shorter than a Pro V1, specially with the driver and they don’t perform well on windy conditions, but for $1 per ball, I am OK with that. I save my Pro V1s for tournaments. It would be nice if you can test V1 against V2 and find out for sure. Thanks for all your great videos.

I play this ball and love it. The more spin is great for my game. I find more green held. Only downside is they are prone to damage in a single round.

I enjoy the brand. It is slightly, shorter off the tee but not so much that it doesn't belong in the bag. I find it quite good in the short game.

Gamed it for the first time last week. I enjoyed it. Got a lot of check on green side chips and seemed to go good off the driver.

I have used both the new and previous version of this ball. I found it to be better than the previous in all aspects especially in durability. I wound love to see you test it to premium balls.

I used these Kirkland v2.0 for almost a year now and it performed like a premium ball.

Played this ball for the first time this weekend. Did everything i wanted, didnt lose one (rare for me!!) Felt like I had plenty of stop and flew lovely and high.

I bought some last week. Feel great. Can't comment on durability as i played so badly i put two in the water. But can confirm you can lose them just as easily as a pro v1. ( But at least you dont feel as bad about wasting money)

I have avoided these for a while and decided to give them a go recently. First outing with them last week. Felt no different to anything premium I have used in the past. The only thing I did notice though was on one hole if I hit it well I can run out of fairway. I hit my 3w as well as I hit anything usually and it was nowhere near the usual finish point. Perhaps it may have a small tail off in distance but performed well enough for me. I am off 11 so probably not best placed to notice any real drop off from other balls or to be punished by a 5% reduction in wedge spin or increase in driver spin. So for a massively average club golfer I would suggest it will only make an impact in your pocket and a positive one at that.

I think the core is different and the cover more durable. AND that course is spectacular!!!

Great balls, especially for the price. Found they went further than pro v for me, and had better control. Well worth £22 for 24 balls.

These are my primary ball. I love it. They have honestly replaced the Chromesoft balls I've always used, but my dad got me these for Christmas and I've switched over to the Kirkland ball permanently

I play the Kirkland balls and have just bought the V2 ones which I will use in due course. Hopefully I can use them like you have done on Chris's channel!!

I just got 2 dozen, but our weather has turned to 40s (°F) with rain. Golf in Wisconsin requires patience... 5 months per year without play.

I would love to see an comparison of the Kirkland ball, Pro V1 , TP5, and the Bridgestone B (Whatever). I personally love the Bridgestone but have recently played the Kirkland brand and.... for the price, there's not a whole lot of difference..... I would also like to add that I do not like the Pro V1 for the average (10+ digit) golfer, but the TP5 is also a good ball.

I think think Costco had released these earlier here in the US. Been playing these for the past 6 months or so. I like about 25 usd for 2 dozen. I still love the Z/star but I can’t pass up grabbing a box of the K balls every time I stock up on toilet paper. If there is an apocalypse at least I will have ample decent balls and loads of TP.

I used these Kirkland v2.0 balls during winter and they feel very similar to a pro v1 just with not as much distance off the tee and they are more durable compared to the Kirkland v1. I'm wondering whether to use these or the pro v1x in the summer as I want a higher trajectory and more stopping power on the greens. Be interesting to see a video where you compare the Kirkland V2 to the pro v1x.

Another great Video James. Enjoy the work you and Chris do together. Mygolfspy golf ball testing. Proved that thinner covers were more durable than their thicker counterparts. Currently I use a 29.99 a dozen, Cut DC's. Which is a 4 piece ball. I believe I lose 10 yards of distance at times compared to a Z-star I was using. But the green side control and feel, fits me and my game. So I just club up to make up the difference. I enjoy to see you give the Cut DC a try. Warning. The cheaper Cuts aren't durable. I tried them. But the DC's are as good as any other ball. Keep up the great work, Cheers!

The new Kirkland ball here in the US, state of Utah, is 24.99 USD. 1.04 per ball. I have a few of the first edition but I will run over to my local Costco and buy a box. Also enjoying my new Kirkland putter. Love the feel. It is a bit short. I could use 35.5 inch length. Still getting uses to putting with a regular length putter. Been using a long Odyssey putter.

I have been using them for a couple years. I only swing my driver around 105 and I haven't seen any noticeable difference in distance and around the green it feels just as good as any ball on the market.

Got 2 of the 2 dozen boxes for 50 bucks today. Not to mention the compression and feel fits my swing perfectly. Absolutely perfect ball

Hi James, I have been playing this ball for a couple of months, although its winter golf, it does fly very nicely, however, off 12, if you miss hit it, the cover does suffer. Compared to a prov, it does stand up, particularly for my handicap.

I love the feel and performance. Maybe a little too spinny for me. My only real knock is that the cover doesn't stand up to a full wedge shot. A full pitching rips the cover up too easily. I don't have that issue as much with "name brand" premium balls.

Costco’s new Kirkland Signature ball is out V3 in black sleeve. I saw a review that shows the cover is more durable. They didn’t provide the averages of the eight iron wedge and driver.

Since the closing of most Golf Galaxy stores and Dick's Sporting buying out Golfsmith, in the U.S Dicks is usually the closest place to go for clubs, balls, etc. Their house brand for balls is Maxfli and would love to see you test the Tour 3 piece urethane ball. They sell for $35 dz and often 2 dz for $60. I heard Tour X not as good.

I really like the tru feel but they are 30 a dz here in Canada. Can get 2 dz kirklands for 35. Been using the kirkland indoors this winter and they feel great and seem to be more durable than the previous version

V1 was a great ball but not for faster swingspeeds off the tee, I was losing 10-20 yards compared to a Srixon QStar but the V2 are on par with pretty much everything on the market.......Best ball for anyone!

I like the Kirkland golf balls if it’s a tough course with narrow fairways. I just know I have to club up for shots. I found using chrome soft and pro v1 I got more distance. For under 100 yard shots I get better spin from the chrome soft and pro v1. It’s a good ball but I like to play other types of golf balls. I at most will only lose 1 ball per round. If I lost a lot of balls I would use these as they do good and are cheap.

Great ball for the average amateur golfer. We aren't rich and we tend to blast a few into different zip codes and send a few swimming during the course of a round. I've been playing them for a couple years now and I have no problem with these balls for the price. Basically a buck a ball in the US with quite good performance. Is it a ProV1?? No, but it's 90% a ProV1 but only a quarter of the price

Anyway you can post pictures of the Takomo 201 irons you used for a while to see how they held up and the wear on them after the while you used them for?

I play of 18 and have used the old kirkland as my main ball. I have the new ones and for me, I haven't noticed much difference on length or spin. Does feel softer off the putter though

Would love to see a v1 vs v2, but also put it against other budget urethane balls. Please make sure to test iron distance as I found the Kirkland balls to be a good half club or more shorter than most other balls. Also compare partial wedge green holding ability as that's where v1 excelled.

It would be good to see how it compares to the cheaper Kirkland ball as this sounds like it's a more premium Kirkland ball

I have tried this ball and liked the performance. However, it’s not as durable as Pro V1 or TP5. The thinner cover scuffs quicker, especially from bunker play. However, it is fantastic value for money. Titleist quality at Top Flite prices. Recommended!

Tried those a couple of weeks ago at my weekly indoor game with my old man, and tried the Wilson Triad this week. Gotta admit for the price points they're both very good balls.

I was using the srixon soft feel and have just bought a set of these balls played 1 round and liked the ball.. I scuffed one out of a bunker and it shredded a bit but other golf balls have done the same on that shot overall looking forward to using it more
