You have the best team on KZfaq buddy. They all work well together and seem to really care about the projects. Thank you for the great videos.
@davebenson1504Ай бұрын
With Sean involved it will be MUCH better 🤩 You just need to get Milwaukee to build a wooden car motor 😂🤣😂
@keithfrazier2558Ай бұрын
Didn't shake my head at the wooden car. I shook my head at the Wasp on a string. I've seen that done with moths, not something that stings.

Lathe safety tip. Do not leave the chuck wrench in the chuck. Believe it or not people will turn on the lathe with it still in and send it flying .
@wesman7837Ай бұрын
This applies to drills too! I watched the electricians apprentice rip the meat between his thumb and pointer finger out with the chuck on the hole hawg while he was changing bits! It was not a pretty sight! 😮 😢

Hey Roby, you might reach out to Curtis at Cutting Edge Engineering Australia . If anyone had any information on your new lathe, it would be him. Or he would know someone who did.

FYI you have a lathe you can make any part you need for it with it. You also have a mill you can make every part you will ever need. You just have to find a machinist to run them.

@coreymckenzie8945Ай бұрын
I shook my head the second I heard 2x4 . Soft pine wood is not durable enough, plus no glue on the joints so I'm certain it will fall apart quickly.

if Milwaukee has that integrated wrench for their Angle grinders.. I think I'm gonna have to convert! ALso love the Electric cart. Go hill billy go! You the man.
@JeremyMakesThingsАй бұрын
On the lathe gear, the typical method for gear repair is to braze up the misssing and teeth and recut them. Helical gears are tricky to cut though, but if you’re careful with grinders and files, you can actually do a good job by hand, the the nice thing with the braze is it will run in over time if you don’t get the tooth profile exactly right.

If you rotate your front wheel assemblies backwards a few degrees, ( 11°-15°) your steering will improve drastically

@thatdave86Ай бұрын
Fine tunning on the steering,camber ,toe and castor,add some old valve springs for suspension in the front end ,add sime gears to the steering so its not so hard ro steer,then will come the safety cage ,seat belts ,foot control for the throttle,and mayve add some simple wooden block brakes ! Morgan cars from Great Britain have wooden chassis,so your cart has great beginnings. Now q time ,where is dejablue jeep ,it seems like it doesn't what ro leaves Matts place ,have you not filled out the Adoption forms ? Eugene was told to be careful with that Axe , Robby be careful with that Lathe .

When I was younger and working at the Amoco Station in the late 80s, I used to take flies that had "chilled" in the soda pop cooler and glue them to paper match sticks using rubber cement. Using four flies and a paper match stick stripped in half, I would glue them in a cross shape, resembling an airplane with four fly "engines". This would definitely make a few customers wonder what strange place they had stepped into.
