We Built a WITHER SKELTON FORTRESS in Minecraft

Күн бұрынWe are Nik and Sid, a husband and wife couple that love to make beautiful builds in Minecraft! Today we built an over powered wither skeleton farms that produces 120 wither skeleton skulls, 6,000 bones and 4,000 coal per hour! This involved fully spawn proofing an entire nether fortress and then removing 100s of lava sources to complete the farm. We then took it to the next level by transforming the nether fortress and building a wither skeleton fortress to enclose the farm.

Great Video, just discovered your channel and instant sub :D Upgrade idea for this farm: you can extend fortress to cover actual spawning area as well, maybe make bottom half couple of blocks wider to add more dimension. and if you remove most of the actual nether fortress around yours it will look much much cooler, just a random fortress in the middle of lava lake

Do you use slabs on the roof of all your builds so mobs wont spawn? Been asking myself that cause its not noticeble if you do. Especially with the dragon around the guardian farm. How do no mobs spawn there?

Not on all builds, but when Mon spawning matters, yes!

love your videos! btw, why at 4:35 will sending mobs through portal will immediately despawn mobs if you and your wife are in seperate dimensions? I've built a guardian farm using portals and found this same issue, I just can't find the mechanics documentation for it

Great question, so as I understand mobs are tracked to players and instantly despawn when further than 128 blocks away. So if the person in either dimension is not near the mobs they will instantly despawn when sent through the portal. I hope that makes sense. If both players are near the portals in either dimension or in the same dimension it should work.

@@whatsminedisyours I see! so if a player is present in a dimension, then this instantaneous despawning occurs past 128 blocks from said player. otherwise, it is tick based despawning (from what im reading). thanks!

Yours bildings are sbsoulutly beautiful! But im by far not as good as you in builfing 😢. Can you please say where you upload the lightmetica schematics? If you dont upload them, do it! They are SO amazing like the Videos you do!!!

Sadly, with the shaders in the Nether, it's pretty hard to see anything at all. And the very fast flickering of the lava, especially with shaders, it can be a bit harmful for those who have trouble with flashing images. I'm sure this looks great, I've seen some of your other builds on occasion and you never disappoint. But sadly, this video was really rough to notice anything at all other than bright orange.
