World is way harder to win than the champions. The group stages are just 3 matches so no room for mistakes there ask Belgium and Germany. The knockouts are one off games so no second chances. The coach and all the players have to be on their A game for the entire knockout to win it. You cannot have a bad game as a team.

UCL is harder imo. Top teams in Europe with the best players in the world and multiple in each team. Working in CL games with already packed schedules for clubs makes it a nightmare. It's definitely hard to win a WC but I'd chalk that up to the frequency

At absolute max, a player has 5 chances to win the World Cup. You, and your teammates, have to all be in decent form at the same time in your careers. You’re also playing with people you don’t regularly play with, and you’re probably playing different tactics to what you’re used to. Imo it is also much harder to win the World Cup because the distribution of talent is more uneven than the UCL; compare the amount of teams that have won UCL compared to won the World Cup.

I think the World Cup CL question depends on the player. Players like Haaland will very likely win a champions league but almost certainly not win a World Cup. However players like Diaby or possibly Dybala at Roma have chances to win the World Cup but quite unlikely to win the CL. I’d put both competitions on a level difficulty imo.
